Visited this bagel spot again yesterday for a Tuna sandwich and pancakes as well as an iced coffee. I ordered via their preferred online method on their website. I arrived at their designated time and my iced coffee was still not ready. This was okay and I didn’t mind. 2-3 minutes later, I get into my car and checked the pancakes and noticed that $6 worth of paid extras was no where to be found. I ordered blueberries, bananas and extra chocolate chips for the pancakes but none of it was on the pancakes except for the normal amount of chocolate chips. I called jewel, a gentleman answered and I explained the situation to him and he apologized and said he would refund me the $6 to the card I purchased with. Additionally, they added powdered sugar to the pancakes which I did NOT check off when placing the order. I still have yet to see an adjustment to my order and when I called to follow up they said they don’t remember :/ I am also a bit surprised that $16 pancakes w/blueberry/chocolate/banana) came with only one side of syrup for three pancakes. This is just embarrassing. Overall quality of the food is good but what does that matter when they don’t include things you pay for and then their customer service is abysmal.

This kosher (under supervision of VHQ) restaurant serves bagels, cream cheese, salads and the standard things you expect in a bagel place. It used to be part of the Bagel Boss chain of restaurants.I see they recently changed their name. Except for the name change, it seems to be the same as before. The food and service here is not bad but its not great- I thought the other Bagel Boss franchises on Long island are better. Service is generally ok, but it slows down quickly when it gets a little crowded. There have been errors in some of my orders, Food is also ok, but not great. Hopefully there will be some improvements along with the name change.

Solid bagel but don’t order with butter. I ordered a buttered poppy with coffee on a late Sunday morning and received a very thin layer on half the bagel. Wth right? I usually don’t make a fuss because I know workers are busy but this was unacceptable. I went to ask for more butter and was given two little to-go containers of butter that were rock hard. Coffee was good, about what you would expect for bagel shop coffee. Came here while I was getting my car inspected down the road. Maybe I’ll come back again next year..

I thought long and hard before writing this review, and have given this place many repeated chances and nothing has changed...

The customer service in this place is just terrible. And they always seem to be understaffed. Every time I go I'm thinking "this time will be better" but I'm constantly proven wrong. The food happens to be ok, but that's where it ends. Here are the issues:

Most times, my order has been wrong. Being that I take it to go, I don't even realize until I open it. When I order, I realize most customers who ordered after me have received their food. When I follow up, it turns out the fry cook forgot to start my order. (This happened 3 times, and each time it was the older white lady with the blonde hair taking my order.) I usually order the same thing every time I go, yet the prices seem to be different each time depending on who is working the register. This place used to be MUCH better staffed and customer service friendly when it was Bagel Boss. I see they kept the menu for the most part but dropped everything else. At times, I'm the next person up on line and still waiting 10+ minutes because they have 2 people working on orders and clearly doing the uber/doordash orders and not attending to the customers in the actual store. All this while the manager stands and watches this growing line from across the room. Again, it all goes back to customer service. The manager of Bagel Boss and Main St Bagels made sure the line is constantly moving and always had a lot more staff hired to help. CATERING: I recently catered a breakfast. I got several Large platters. When I picked it up, I learned what they call a Large, is a medium at places like Main St Bagels. The presentation was nice but the portions were much smaller than expected.

At this point, I will be taking my business elsewhere until this place can get their...

Extremely disappointed in the management and the product of this business. We have used them many times for large orders. We placed a large order for a morning event. This was confirmed with the manager several times. The morning of, the order was late. It was over an hour and 15 minutes late, short items, and poor quality. We operate with a small window of time and do not have all day to eat. The manager, the store, even the driver were contacted multiple times, The store would not answer. The manager would not answer. The driver let us know the order was not given to him until 10 minutes before delivery. We will not use their services again, Horrible experience. Not one apology or reasonable explanation.

I see the "owner" replied to this today (12/19) nearly a month later. I did speak to the manager several times. She gave me a number to speak to her "manager" who I called several times- never a call back. We called the store daily for weeks to attempt to speak to the manager or to the owner. No one ever called back. No one ever responded. The manager I spoke to made several excuses and never corrected the situation. As you can see in the original review, we attempted to have conversations with management and continued to attempt to have conversations with management long after the review was posted. Last time I spoke to the manager on 12/6. During this conversation she complained about me writing this review. I messaged again on 12/10 and nothing was responded to.

Sadly, this business is being managed poorly. No one returns calls or messages. Orders are not delivered properly or as ordered. There is no attempt to resolve or repair relationships...

Working from home is great when you have a decent selection of food nearby, I ordered from this establishment a few times, no complaints about the food, however, whoever picks up the phone to take orders needs to learn the first step of the service industry; “don’t be rude to your diners”. To put the icing on the cake, I ordered a breakfast this morning 04/13/22 at 8:10am, it’s now 11:29am, and I’m still waiting for that order which I suspect will never make its way, so I ordered from Uber eats at 10:30am.

I’m sure the establishment owners do everything they can to address their client satisfaction, however, the establishment should set some type of protocol for answering phones and taking orders. This isn’t personal, and the person taking phone orders should understand that they are integral in meeting customers needs by having clear professional communication without the need for rudeness.

I will be giving this place one more chance to redeem themselves because the food is worth it, I absolutely hate writing bad reviews but I hate bad service even more.

Edit: establishment has reached out and is taking corrective measures, I’m editing the number of stars from 2 to 4 because the food is great, and the owners are taking care of their clients. One bad employee does not represent an...
