Great Moroccan Israeli kosher spot on the cor er of Jewel and Main. Fast fresh healthy food not cheap but very generous portions. Love their tasty falafel and best way to order ift is in the hand made laffa bread, made in a tandoori like oven right by the front window. The falafel is packed with delicious flavors and lots of green herbs and fried to perfection, crisp and never greasy. You can choose which salads and sauces you want then to load into your pita or laffa along with the falafel balls. Pro tips: ask for the homemade French fries on the side Also you can all for salads from the cold case closer to the register to be added such as tabouli, baba ganoush, a variety of diced eggplant salads and such. And then still have them add hummus tahini Israeli salad diced or sliced onions parsley etc. Then you can help yourself to the pickled veggies, morrocan carrots, red or white coleslaw and such. Our other favorite is the schwarmas both versions are quite delicious and again expensive but generous portions. Also comes with their irresistible homemade fries. Shakshuka looks good but have yet to try The entree plates are also expensive but huge. Most people seem to share or take leftovers home. It's a busy spot with waiter service I. The back, counter service and takeout in the front. And some seating for counter service too although it's not sufficiently air conditioned during the summer months between the bread oven, schwarma spits and grills not to mention the sun streaming in thru the big glass windows. Highly recommended it like being in Tel Aviv with Hebrew being spoken and Israeli food being enjoyed. Oh another pro tip: ask for a side of shug (Israeli hot sauce) and a side of amba middle eastern curried mango sauce! Hard to find in NYC.

Delicious shawarma with an array of different sauces! I had the combination of lamb-turkey and baby chicken shawarma wrapped in laffa. I would definitely recommend this option and fill it with sauces and salads. I got the garlic mayo which was amazing, as well as tabouli, tahini, babaganoush, and Moroccan eggplant. One sandwich is more than enough to fill you up. You can even split a sandwich if you get some sides. We also tried the falafel and the arais. The waitress was very nice and gave us a bunch of extra sauces to dip our meal into on the side. The restaurant is a bit cozy, but fits the family vibe, and they keep it pretty clean. Street parking around the neighborhood.

This place has been on my list of places to try and I was randomly in the area and it was the perfect opportunity. They have two spinning shawarma's lamb-turkey and baby chicken. I could not decide between the two so I got a combo pita pocket sandwich. The meat was so tasty and tender and the hummus and Israeli salad were awesome. They have some many toppings but it was first time so I went with the safe choices. Next time I am planning on trying the laffa it looked so good and it was large enough to feed two. My order came with a side coleslaw and small order of fries. The service was fast and the staff were polite. Highly recommend!

I had a terrible racial experience with the blonde hair racist who exhibited inequality with improper customer service to all races. I write this review as a community member and a first responder who dedicated my life to support small businesses and also help to with fighting to keep down covid19 in my community and around the USA.This waitress was atrocious and should be fired and allow another person the opportunity to work who appreciates customers and business. My scenario was very easy I needed to have my salad šŸ„— half and half if needed to pay for it I will np.She just brush me off and went to serve another gentleman who who was of her ethnicity while both are paying customers.I made it known to her that your discrimination is being observed by an intellectual woman and this is disgusting.I asked do you have a manager What difference does that make",not trying to fix the issue just nasty.A very professional staff was able to fix the issue by explaining due to covid19 we no longer do my request it's already prepackaged which was understood good job to this staff.Blonde older lady then pursued to involve the cops šŸ‘®ā€ā™€ļø šŸ˜€ after she did wrong. I explained myself within my rights how this lady made a discrimination towards a West Indian woman in comparison to caucasian man , with biased customer service, which is wrong. This staff damages your business! I will never support you again in a community where I have been living in this neighborhood for 20 years. We know racism is alive and well does not make it right slavery for my country was August 6th,1962.The tables turn when you approach an intellectual, educated strong and assertive black woman ; business entrepreneur and šŸ’Š medical woman". Coming with that victim approach was not correct. Absolutely not right! No race should experience this when they support your business especially in the pandemic first responders fought to make people better not sick so hence they can come and dine with you to make your business successful it was a disgraceful experience. I hope the owner who reads this adjusts your staff. This "Blonde" staff damages your business and customer relationships she is in the wrong field, not customer...

I have been a huge fan of Grill Point Queens for over ten years, and I can confidently say it stands out as a culinary gem in the realm of Israeli and Mediterranean cuisine. When I think Grill point I think authentic and flavorful.

The standout feature of Grill Point is undoubtedly their shawarma. The lamb, chicken, and turkey shawarma is uniquely savory that is hard to find elsewhere. The baby chicken shawarma and shish kebabs are also not to be missed, offering a rich, indulgent flavor.

Apart from the meat, Grill Point impresses with its array of fresh, daily prepared salads and an assortment of dishes that speak true to Israeli culinary traditions. The quality of their ingredients is top-notch, ensuring each dish is not only delicious but also wholesome. I have an Israeli friend who mentioned that the only hummus which evokes memories of his hometown in Tel Aviv can be found at Grill Point in Queens.

Additionally, Grill Point's catering services are commendable. They provide a diverse menu that's perfect for various occasions, from private parties to Shabbat dinners. We have used them on numerous occasions for Shabbat. Their ability to cater to events with the same quality and flavor as their restaurant offerings is truly impressive.

A special thanks to manager Regina Abayev and team member Lisa Peretz, whose excellence in customer service enhances the experience. Their friendly and professional approach makes every visit memorable.

Grill Point NY is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in the authentic tastes of Israel and the Mediterranean. Their fresh, flavorful food and the warm, inviting ambiance make it a favorite dining spot for many,...
