Thiseems to be a neighborhood favorite and St Pattys day was especially a busy day. I came here with my husband to celebrate where there had no reservations ahead of time, just walkins and cash only. The wait was an hour but it didn’t shock me. This place has at least 12 draft beers and plenty of bottled beers, and mixed drinks made fairly quick. They also advertise live music on some nights and have very cute Irish decorations and Guinness products . PS i saw Nicole Malliotakis stop by the bar so that’s how you know this place is popular. When I finally sat down , the table was clean with good condiments and nice waiters. I tried the chicken wings and irish nachos off their limited st pattys menu, and I have to say the buffalo sauce on the wings and bleu cheese was spectacular and filling , amazing portions. The irish nachos are also mixed fries with pico de gallo and cheese. It is creative but it probably would of been just as fun on real nacho chips. For drinks we got classic jack and cokes($16 im not complaining) and they were strong, dark and stormy! For entree I got their infamous corned beef platter and my husband got fish and chips but their burgers on the menu had literal chips not fries, it held us back from trying the burgers because we are used to eating them with fries. Nonetheless those portions were big too with amazing seasoning and were tasty. For $100 dollars on all these items it is solid. What holds me back from giving this place 5 stars is their dirty bathroom. I also think they can make better use of their space since they have two dining rooms. I saw several tables not being used for dining in second room meanwhile many people were waiting to be seated. They randomly put one table on stage too at the spur of the moment . I think if they rearranged their furniture and space they can handle a lot more traffic and have a comfortable space. I look forward...
Read moreHello. I recently dined here (about a week ago) and felt compelled to post a review. I've never reviewed a restaurant before but the sheer fact of how bad the food was turned me to do this. The beer selection was great, and the staff were acceptable. The food however, was deplorable. Cheap, frozen, and poorly made food slapped together and called a "special". When did restaurants start calling frozen reheated food, specials? Must have missed the memo. I had the fish and chips and it was so bad I literally could not finish my plate. I decided to try the "homemade" desserts as I figured this might have changed my mind about the place. I was very wrong. The "homemade" dessert was a slice of store bought cheesecake. I used to dine at this establishment 10-15 years ago and the food was amazing. Whoever these new owners are clearly lost the plot and have no clue what they are doing in the restaurant business. Cheap A*holes. I didn't think the situation could get much worse than the food but this was the cherry on top. As much as it pains me to say, it's best this place...
Read morePlace has absolutely vile food. If I could give 0 stars I would. It is astonishing that it receives good reviews frequently. All the food is clearly frozen. All of the dishes are either piping hot (as if it was thrown in the microwave), or reheated in the oven and is cold in the center. The staff are always pleasing and willing to make things right. I noticed I wasn't the only table complaining about my food, and it is sad to see the waitstaff have to endure complaints. The owners are clearly cheap drunks that get the bare minimum, low quality food that is required to somehow stay open. Also not very surprised the health rating is so low. Place is filthy with an outdated, and cold ambiance. There was also an older man rapidly darting back and forth from what I assume is the kitchen door, looking stressed and making the entire dining room very uncomfortable while me and the mrs were dining. It's a shame this place has fallen this low and it is in good gesture I post this review to maybe...
