Sometimes you might be lucky to get some real good Guyanese style Chinese fried rice with taste and smell.. Other times I be wondering what de backside they cooking in the kitchen and giving people to give, sometimes the food fresh, no taste, almost taste like plain rice. I don’t like eggs in my fried rice so when I’m ordering on Uber I would make sure to let them know in the note, but sometimes they would still put eggs.. sometimes when I go to the location to get my food myself they would even mix up the orders and give you the orders so make sure you check the bag before leaving. The best Guyanese style Chinese fried I ate came from this place, so I would give them it for that. Just that the food may have different taste on different days. I saw someone posted a pepper sauce container with mr fly in it, now I’m thinking if I should stop supporting this business being that seem very untidy too. Updated:06/02/2024 After a year I just got an order of chicken fried rice and honestly the food doesn’t taste the same no more. It doesn’t taste anything close to Guyanese Chinese style fried rice. The rice was more yellow than brown like the last time I purchase. The restaurant was also visibly dirty by the dinning area. This is my last time patronizing this place.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. My fiancé and I stopped in and ordered curry snapper with roti and curry lamb with roti. First, when the attendant handed me the bag with the takeout, I could smell the fish right away, and not in a good way…have they never heard of lime/lemon and vinegar?!! And when we got home and saw how the snapper looked….Nasty!!!!!! I’ve posted a pic. Even after all that, he still decided to taste it, no seasoning. The lamb was tough- just edible and the roti tasted stale. I have never bought food before where absolutely everything was garbage. I will stick to Trinciti or Singh’s in the future. Lesson well learnt!

I would probably give this 4 stars if the quality of food was more consistent. I normally will either get the chicken fried rice or the chicken lo mein. I will steer more towards getting the fried rice simply because the lo mein is either really great or it is dry and tasteless. The fried rice is a safer bet and my favorite part is the bora which adds a nice crunchiness. The chicken is also great - sometimes it does hover on being a little too dry, but the marinade on there is great. I do like that I can get my breads, pastries, etc all in one place. Cassava pone is awesome here - it is moist!

I've ordered from this location before on one of the food apps and had almost the same experience. Not sure if I needed to place an order for pick up from lunch time for 9pm in the night. Got to the restaurant from long island within half an hour which is what the woman on the phone estimated to pick up and they said the food was given away since I called 2 hours ago. When in fact I called less than half an hour before my arrival to the restaurant. I was then told that the food is not ready and I had to wait at least 45 minutes plus from me arriving and then told that the food was being cooked again. Service was not great at all by the woman behind the counter. But, what would you expect from a place like this. I would say that the food was ok after the hour wait for the food too, it's hard to believe where the food quality...

Service is very important to me,,,so here goes my review,,,when i called to place my order, the guy who answered was plesant, food was excellent, except for chicken and broccoli the chicken was big chucks and not a good cut,,,broccoli was very hard under cook and big chucks like the chef didn't bother to cut, other than that it was tasty,,they could improve by fixing up the counter a bit,,,pick up was good no complain about that,,,02/24/20,,food was bad today, chicken fried rice was dry/no taste, house special noodles was horrible,,the old lady that took the order was not friendly at all,,guess she doesn't think customers are important once she...
