Guac Time Mexican Grill — Restaurant in New York

Fraud! I went to pick up an Uber Eats order, and the woman in front (the manager, I assume) just casually takes my phone and googles the restaurant. She clicks 5 stars for everything and then hands the phone back, telling me to write up the review! I just stare back, incredulous, and she takes the phone back and writes up a fake review, right in front of me, clearly having done this many times before. This was all done without my consent, nor did she even inform me of her intentions when she took my phone. Not only is this fraud, but identity theft, an actual crime, having written up a review in my name! I decided to let her finish the review, and then later deleted it myself so I could write this REAL review instead. Took wife #3 to Guac Time for her birthday because she said she wanted “spice and attention.” I gave her both — birria tacos and eye contact. The food? Unreal. She said her quesadilla was “better than our wedding.” I said “same” and immediately apologized.

We were mid-bite when wife #1 randomly sent a voice note saying, “I had a dream you were cheating on me at a taco place.” I sent back, “SubhanAllah, dreams are wild.” She replied with “Where are you?” and I said, “At the masjid. As we cut her birthday tres leches (on the house, bless these people), I see wife #4 walk by outside and freeze — like she knew. She didn’t come in. She just stared. Texted me, “Enjoying your little date?” I sent back, “I’m fasting.” She replied, “You’re holding cake.”

Still, wife #3 had a great time. I even sang “Happy Birthday” while scanning the room like a fugitive.

I’ve been going to Guac time for over two years now and this location for about six months. For the past two weeks I stopped getting a full menu item because I’m on a diet restriction and I’ve been only getting the protein side after the gym. This suits my needs better than any other item. Today the staff decided to inform me that the ‘owner’ does not want me (the paying customer) to be just ordering a menu item that is a side. Other than the fact this is on the menu, I’ve also been getting extra sides and smaller portions at other locations without a problem in the past two years. Before in the past, there was questioning about my order, which is very uncomfortable and unprofessional. I’ve never in my life gone to a restaurant where they told us we could not order something off the menu just because of our preference in size. They definitely lost a loyal customer at...
