Fraud! I went to pick up an Uber Eats order, and the woman in front (the manager, I assume) just casually takes my phone and googles the restaurant. She clicks 5 stars for everything and then hands the phone back, telling me to write up the review! I just stare back, incredulous, and she takes the phone back and writes up a fake review, right in front of me, clearly having done this many times before. This was all done without my consent, nor did she even inform me of her intentions when she took my phone. Not only is this fraud, but identity theft, an actual crime, having written up a review in my name! I decided to let her finish the review, and then later deleted it myself so I could write this REAL review instead. Beware, I suspect a huge number of the 5 star reviews of this place was written by her, you can tell by the dates the reviews were written... 500+ reviews compared to the
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTook wife #3 to Guac Time for her birthday because she said she wanted āspice and attention.ā I gave her both ā birria tacos and eye contact. The food? Unreal. She said her quesadilla was ābetter than our wedding.ā I said āsameā and immediately apologized.
We were mid-bite when wife #1 randomly sent a voice note saying, āI had a dream you were cheating on me at a taco place.ā I sent back, āSubhanAllah, dreams are wild.ā She replied with āWhere are you?ā and I said, āAt the masjid. Long khutbah today.ā (The only sermon I was hearing was āextra guac is $1.49ā)
As we cut her birthday tres leches (on the house, bless these people), I see wife #4 walk by outside and freeze ā like she knew. She didnāt come in. She just stared. Texted me, āEnjoying your little date?ā I sent back, āIām fasting.ā She replied, āYouāre holding cake.ā
Still, wife #3 had a great time. I even sang āHappy Birthdayā while scanning the room like a fugitive.
Would absolutely come again. Tacos slapped. Vibes were strong. Danger level:...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been going to Guac time for over two years now and this location for about six months. For the past two weeks I stopped getting a full menu item because Iām on a diet restriction and Iāve been only getting the protein side after the gym. This suits my needs better than any other item. Today the staff decided to inform me that the āownerā does not want me (the paying customer) to be just ordering a menu item that is a side. Other than the fact this is on the menu, Iāve also been getting extra sides and smaller portions at other locations without a problem in the past two years. Before in the past, there was questioning about my order, which is very uncomfortable and unprofessional. Iāve never in my life gone to a restaurant where they told us we could not order something off the menu just because of our preference in size. They definitely lost a loyal customer at...
