A grown big man screaming his words to a 4 foot 11 pregnant women then insulting her unborn child as well as insulting her claiming she has a mental illness because she refused to let him scream at her with and attitude. First he claimed heâs telling me to stand somewhere else so the kids donât push the door into me but the door is pull not push so I donât see how thatâs possible. Itâs 10:30 am and kids are in school well atleast mine is. Then you wanna say customers are coming in and at that time there was none. There was another girl standing right where I was yet you felt the need to yell at ME to move. You brought my child into this for no reason . You insulted me continuously while I was waiting for the cops to come. You greeted another customer good but me snotty. Again if I had a mental illness I wouldnât have my kids in school I wouldnât even know what that is. If I had a mental illness I wouldnât call 911 and stand politely while I waited for them. Itâs sad that I even had to call 911 because of you screaming. He also accused me of being from the bushwick area which Iâm not lol I never even been there to that store. Then he got an attitude with me telling me heâs attending to another customer he canât attend to me right now and I didnât even ask him to or say a word to him. Clearly he was having a bad day. Accusing me of calling 911 because I was having a bad day. That was the first time besides a fire I had to call 911 and I felt the need to because he was screaming and his employee was insulting me along with him and I NEVER once insulted him back or called him any names because I didnât feel the need to go there but apparently heâs the one with the bad day because he felt every need to insult a pregnant women. Yet telling me Iâm disturbing the peace . Your job wasnât trashed and I wasnât rude or insulting like you. And yes I have a lot of time on my hands Then his employee decided to be rude and asked me if I have an appointment or something to go to as if thatâs any of her business. Stick to what you know best and thatâs packing the fridge and smoking cigarettes. If you didnât want to serve my kind you could have politely ask me to leave but you didnât you screamed everything and told me to go to hell and get the hell out. You wouldnât dare talk to a man like that to his face. If you noticed when you asked politely then we was able to get somewhere positive. Iâm glad I can teach you how to talk...
Read moreThis place really stepped up their game from one year ago. The decor was improved and so was the customer service. My scathing review below is no longer true. I am so happy they improved on these things and I have been back many times since.
I am a raw foodist spending about $100 a week on green juices and was excited to see this location open in my ever changing neighborhood, but they really need to work on their customer service. After ordering I was waiting for quite some time despite the place being totally empty - no problem there because patience is a virtue. I finally noticed my order sitting on the counter oxidizing for God knows how long without being told, "Hey your order is ready." If you drink green juice you know this is a no no. Then I asked where the straws were and was told to wait. That was really shocking. My husband was blatantly ignored after saying "excuse me" to the person behind the counter at least 5 times so that he could add to the order. I guess that person was new and afraid to respond. Awkward. I do laundry down the street every week but I won't be spending my money there ever again. The man who said he was the owner made a great blend so hence 2 stars but should really think about being friendly to every customer and answering questions with a smile, making light conversation and no attitude instead of just waiting for the...
Read moreSad to see the display I saw from a pregnant woman about 2 weeks ago. I would like to say in response to you inaccurate account of the story, that you are completely foolish and aggressive. You walk into an establishment and typically just walk right into the kitchen area? You don't normally walk over to a counter area to place an order? The owner was by himself that day working both the register and preparing orders. He has every right to feel threatened and defensive if an individual walks into an area where he is preparing food and is restricted to employees only. He asked you to step over to the counter area to place your order, but you immediately began to yell. You were rude and have zero manners walking into an establishment. Please in the future leave me out of your drama. I was standing there minding my business waiting for the drink I ordered and paid for AT THE COUNTER. Also keep in mind for future reference, it is considered a safety hazard for any exit in any establishment to be blocked, YOU CAN NOT STAND IN FRONT OF OF A DOORWAY. King Juice Bar has become a vital source in my daily routine. Their fresh organic juices have provided an essential and nutritious option in my quest for a healthier lifestyle. PLEASE TAKE YOUR...
