I stopped by to have lunch while my car was being serviced across the street. This place is spacious and very clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They have a very good Dominican menu with a lot of tasty options on the menu. I ordered a small lunch and the portion was huge, I ate and have half left over to take home. I ordered the chicharrón de pollo sin hueso, arroz blanco y guandules, plátano maduro, y aguacate con un jugo de chinola (boneless chicken chunks, white rice, pigeon peas beans, sweet plantains, avocado, passion fruit juice) and it came out to $16! Definitely a bargain for the price. Absolutely recommend coming here.

Terrific food. Place has a lot of potential still to be exposed. Stands next to a Carvel which draws your attention more so than the black & white signage of the restaurant...Friend and I were the only ones there on a Saturday afternoon until a crowd of three came in about 20 minutes into our visit. Service was obviously quick and food was tasty... but they don't yet serve alcohol 👎 - 1 star for that....they do have a BYOB policy in place though - but you better bring it ahead of time because there are no bodega/liq stores within a comfortable walking distance...they also have some parking

The food (we had) was nothing special. We went in for brunch and had the Mangu and waffles with strawberries. They didn't have the French toast which is what we really wanted so we had to settle for the waffles. They tasted old and as kind of like cardboard. The Mangu didnt have much flavor to it. The eggs were delicious and se was the friend cheese that comes with the plate. The juices and lemonades they do have a unique taste to them which we both enjoyed. Prices are good and the service is great but a bit slow (granted we went at a busy time so let's give them the benefit of the doubt).

I decided to go here for Sunday brunch after reading all the good reviews. The location isn't the easiest to spot while driving and parking is tight in the area.

The restaurant had a fair amount of people but a few open seats. So we didn't have to wait. We ordered coffee and an appitizer to start until we decided what we wanted for our main course.

After the server returned we ordered our main course and another coffee. The appitizer comes and we devour it! Very delicious! The coffee I ordered never comes and the rest of the food we ordered never comes either.

We waited 30+ minutes and knew something was up when people who came after us ordered and got their food. Someone even came up to our table to ask us how we we're doing and told us our food is coming. We waited and waited some more... No food!

Finally we ask what's up and we're told the food order was never put into their system. What?? We decide to leave and at this time the person I'm assuming is the manager starts with the excuses. Here we go! There was a delay in the kitchen... Well the delay didn't stop the several other people who came after us to get their food though right??

If you are the owner/manager of a business don't give your customers excuses about everything and everyone. Just FIX IT!! Apologize and find fix it!

I don't doubt the food here is good but terrible service will turn anyone away from good food. This was my first visit here and it...

Cozy setting. Semi pricey and not a whole lot of variety for the menu. Got an entree and two appetizers that were good and hot. Unfortunately the bbq pork and mac and cheese is just that - it doesn't come with any bread or other side, making it oddly dissatisfying once you've had more than ten bites. And it is a whopping portion of both! The one appetizer was great - a steak and cheese combination inside of fried plantain (tostones) shaped in a cup, but from my partner, it was not the traditional dish from the namesake. The other was three fried things filled with three different stuffings: chicken, pork, and vegetables I believe. They weren't that astounding... couldn't think of the name of them to save my life. And the sauce that accompanied it tasted like mayo mixed with sriracha sauce. The best one was the veggie to make matters interesting there! Overall, there were some pretty good looking plates that came out to other customers and it is family friendly and relaxing to sit for a spell. Hope to return to have some of the other things I saw available and change the rating up...

I order the fried chicken and waffle, and they should think about changing the name on the menu only because the dish arrived with boneless breaded chicken, hence this is not Fried chicken. They added cheese and syrup on top of my waffle, the mixture was not appetizing. The flavor of the chicken was not season to my expectation. The staff was friendly, but service is slow paced. The owner offered to change my order, which I then ordered a tres golpe. However, the order arrived as follow, mangu, egg and one slice of cheese. I was charged the price of the chicken and waffle, which i did not eat. Although I was served a small plate of tres golpe, which was the size of a kids meal. My friend ordered shredded beef with rice, beans and tostones. I tried his dish as well and again the dish was not out of this world. I am a huge foodie and this place did not meet my...
