I frequent this place often, I usually buy 4 slices of pizza two for me and two for my daughter. But tonight I said let me try a pie, I normally don’t buy a Large pie because it’s too much for me and my daughter. But I was told about a smaller pie which had six slices so I said I’ll try that… What I got was the equivalent of two slices shaped as a whole pie for 17.42. When I saw the pie my first instinct was not to buy it but since they made it fresh and I waited ten minutes with a hungry child at home i reluctantly brought it, but let him know I was extremely disappointed. When I got home and told my daughter I also realized this is the same size box I receive when I buy my usual two slices. No way should 17 dollars worth of pizza be able to fit in the same box as 6 dollars worth of pizza.I was so disappointed I didn’t know what to do but call them and complain which didn’t do anything so I decided to write this review. Needless to say my daughter ate all six slices which also confirmed to me that I just aid 17.42 for two slices of pizza. No qualms about the quality the pizza was amazing as usual but now I have to find something to eat for myself. DO NOT EVER BUY A SMALL PIE!!! Just buy four individual slices or 6 you’ll come out better. Very disappointed I just wish he would have let me know the size before hand as I asked about four slices and figured I would get the two extra slices and save a dollar or two I feel like I was ripped off, hence the long review and lack of punctuation. They need to either lower the price of the small pie or take it off the menu all together it’s a complete rip off!!! Yours Truly A disappointed and...
Read moreEdit: After having had an e-mail exchange with the owner, Alexander, it's clear to me how much this place cares about their customers. I look forward to continuing to order from you guys in the future, thanks again. I’ll gladly change this review if I ever hear back from Lucille’s but after calling the night this happened and calling back a couple days later, leaving my number and never hearing from the manager Alex, I feel like this is my only option.
I’ve ordered from here a number of times and it’s pricy but I have largely been satisfied. A couple weeks ago I ordered a pepperoni pie directly from the Lucille’s website that, once you include tax and tip came to about $35. When it arrived it was a mini pizza, 11 inches across. I essentially paid $35 for what amounted to two slices of pizza.
I specifically order directly from Lucille’s so that you guys don’t get screwed by third party apps and now this is making me wish I hadn’t. There’s nowhere on the website that would indicate to me how small this pizza is. Very disappointing experience that is now compounded by getting no response when...
Read morePicked up pizza earlier tonight and was pretty disappointed. I ordered garlic knots, which were fairly tasty by themselves, but the marinara sauce they came with was thin and bland. I tried the artichoke pizza, which I had hoped would be a hit, but it all fell a bit flat. The dough felt tough, not satisfying and crisp or rich and pillowy. None of the cheeses stood out from one another, and the artichokes felt soggy and bland. I tried some of my partner’s pizza, the Sausage Peppers pie, which was better, but still lacked any memorable seasoning or dynamic flavor. My partner had spoken highly of the pizza last time he’d had it (a few years ago), but neither of us finished our pizzas this time around. I hope the team here can adjust a few things and see if the pizzas are living up to their standards. Until then, I’m gonna have to get...
