Now let’s talk about the food… Whew, everything was so good! We ordered pretty much everything we wanted to try: Jerk Wings, Mac & Cheese, Fish and Shrimp, Sweet Potatoes, Collard Greens, and those Sweet Potato Fries. Every single bite was packed with flavor; you could really taste the love and care that went into every dish. The prices were extremely reasonable, too, and I must mention that the customer service was excellent as well.

Here’s the special part: I actually met the owner about six or seven years ago at a party in New York, and every time I come to town, I make sure to reach out to her. When I visited the first week of October, she told me she was preparing for a soft opening of her restaurant that weekend, but I didn’t get the chance to stop by. So my husband and I decided to surprise her with a little pop-up visit at her new spot, and it was everything I hoped it would be.

Not only is the food amazing, but the love she has for her community is truly special; you can feel it.

Food is Trash; macaroni is the kind of Mac that at gatherings people ask “who made the mac” it’s brown looking, no cheese, no flavor Dirt!! Yams have good flavor but look like Yam Paste like the consistency of tomato paste, greens taste like seaweed and the shrimps was rubbery like I was chewing on twizzlers! My neighbor was complaining about this spot yesterday but she always complains so I didn’t take her serious, here I go rebelling and said let me go to prove her wrong! Just to go against her but when I tell you she was right lmao she was absolutely correct!! Fish had good flavor that’s all; but fish was over fried, shrimp over fried. A Harlem Gem! Just stopped by this new family-run takeout spot in Harlem, and I’m so glad I did. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love. You can really taste the care that goes into every dish. The whole family was so welcoming and kind, and the atmosphere was full of good energy.
