Mío Rivera’s bakery — Restaurant in New York

I recently had the pleasure of ordering a custom birthday cake for my 7-year-old niece's party, and Mio's Bakery truly outdid themselves. The theme was Labubu, and the cake was absolutely beautiful—it was the showstopper of the party!

The ordering process was seamless. The gentleman who took my request was incredibly helpful and professional. He proactively asked if I had an inspiration picture (which I did), ensuring he understood the precise vision for the character design. I’m happy to report that he definitely nailed the custom theme.

We ordered the cake, sized for 15-20 people, in the delicious Dominican style with a dulce de leche flavor. We also added two orders of a dozen cupcakes with two different colored icings. The flavor was what truly stood out. Everyone, including my family, kept asking where I got the cake! The combination was perfectly balanced: it was sweet but not too sweet, and the icing on the cake was similarly light and enjoyable.

I have been coming to Mio's Bakery for a while now, and they never disappoint in service or quality. For custom designs, exceptional service, and desserts that genuinely taste as good as they look, I wholeheartedly recommend...

Their cake are delicious, the decoration are amazing But only complain i have is that the owner is so nasty. She doesn't know how to give a good customer Service. As they say, customer service starts with a smile. When you are in a face-to-face situation, a warm greeting should be the first thing a customers see and hear when they ask for help. This lady is just plain nasty the few times Iv'e gone. Luckly their cakes are good. But if i Find anything similar i wont be coming back. My Money is...

It saddened me to report this establishment because I had ordered cakes from there before. The work is not the same. Very disappointed to served my guests a lump of dried up dough decorated with plastic flowers. I picked it up yesterday and it's still sitting on my table. Only one slice eaten. They Do Not bake dominican cakes! I don't know what this is! I spoke to Olga, maybe she should tell her dominican clients that Mio Bakery has changed owners or who used to make the cakes, left....
