It's okay. They aren't terrible. Sometimes the customer service can use some work.
They lose stars because of coupons and deals not always working.
My most recent story was when I was using the McDonald's app to get one of their deals. I had used it before, so I knew it worked. I called to check if they were open then did my order... All seemed to be fine, so I went to the place and it still seemed ok. It said it could see I was there and told me to check in, and when I went to choose my pick-up method (in store) I got an error. I asked the cashier and Apparently their coupon reader was down. The original lady I spoke to didn't know anything about the app, so I had to speak to 3 people before finally asking for the manager and having her tell me the machine was down. I asked her if she could honor the coupon since that was why I came, and she said no. I asked for a number to speak to their higher ups to see if they'd honor the coupon and give them an override code, and she said "It's 3pm, they close at 1, so no." I mean...I used to work at a McDonalds, so I know that managers are the ones who can usually do overrides if possible, and the person who said they were a manager didn't have a manager name tag. And it's not like they don't have them in that store. I have seen a manager there before. But it was a long shot. They did assure me that my card wouldn't be charged, and I stuck around to see if the Spanish couple who were also using the phone app would get through. They denied them too, so I knew that it wasn't just them being mean. So I left and...
Read moreWe stopped here for our nephew who had to have nuggets and fries. 🙄 I was particularly annoyed at the lack of consideration, attention, and service at this location. We sat at the call box for several minutes while the cars in front of us took up near permanent residency at the window ahead. Eventually, the line inched forward enough for us to pull to the first window where we were, again, summarily ignored. We saw the employees see us, but they kept on with their other night duties never so much as acknowledging that we were sitting there waiting to order. A manager strolled by and waived us off indicating for us to go to the front window. If it weren't for this kid, we would have bounced. We pull forward and tell the guy no one took our order and we were told to pull forward. He says, "Ok. $3.79." Huh? We explain again that no one answered at the call box and that we were told to pull up to the window. Again, "Oh. Ok. $3.79." After deciding we weren't actually being punk'd, we eventually made our order. I realize stuff happens and people have off days, but this seems to be status quo at...

I purchased a salad and much more first they tried to refuse to put extra lime dressing on it when I’m paying my money for it, they also made a complaint that I was getting crispy chicken how they were trying to get rid of the grill chicken and I should take grilled chicken instead of what I wanted, I didn’t understand my food was received to me very nasty and cold. I’m not understanding who’s controlling this place of business, but someone needs to get it in order quickly because bad customer service is unacceptable and should not be tolerated from anyone. The young lady that took my order was very respectful to me by the way. i’ve spent over $40 worth of food for my children and didn’t receive my food hot everything was COLD not how I purchased it or how I should have received it.
