Lovely store with many Middle Eastern goodies and the ABSOLUTE BEST BARBARI BREAD IN NY! We make the trip from Long Island often just for the perfectly baked, authentic and delicious bread. The owners are wonderful and shopping in this store is always a pleasant experience.

Nice bakery and small shop. Great for picking up freshly baked barbari bread, as well as packaged lavash, soujouk, kashkaval cheese, and staples such as bulgur, filo dough, and laghmajun. My only suggestion is to have more Armenian made products available.

Great store for Arab groceries and pastries. They have great bread, olive oil and honey as well. They get their baklava from homemade baklava in Astoria. It’s nice to support a local business.

This is our local bakery and it's awesome. They have a wide selection of breads that are made on the premises. The barbari is perfect to have with gravies or to cut up and use as a flat bread with sandwich fillings. The pitas are available in white or whole wheat and in a small and large size.

My personal favorite bread though is the Zaatar (sumac powder with sesame seeds) bread. They run out often so try and get there in the morning hours.

They have fresh feta both french and bulgarian. Their olive bar is extensive and the staff is helpful and alert.

If you're heading home or just out to the beaches and are driving on the LIE (towards Long Island) take the Springfield Avenue exit. The bakery is on the same road just a few meters after the ramp - drop by grab some bread, fresh feta and olives along with some hummus or other dip and get back on the freeway. You won't regret it - that's if you can keep your hands off the bread and it actually makes it to your...

A very racist cashier, I will never come back to this shop. I went there and bought some bread and cookies,at checkout, the screen said $25.99 the cashier told me to give him $26 and I did. The next costumer bought stuff and she got a total of $11.49 the same cashier said to give him $11.49. Later on I asked him for the penny and he said that I was stingy and pointed to his head and said “Ohhhhh.. you are Chinese! That’s why you are complaining over a penny.”I answered him the amount is the amount is the amount, honesty is the key to business. It’s not a big deal that he forgot to pay me change,I don’t care about that penny, but RACE has nothing to do with this. He used his problem to blame others. If the customer did not tell you to keep the change, then you honestly give it to the customer. It’s not worth to discriminate someone over a penny. Every race has its problem or issues,no one is perfect. I would be very appreciative if someone reminded me...

My family has been coming here for over forty years. The recent renovations are great! The store has really improved since 2017. A fresh bright interior with freshly baked Armenian breads, pastries, and treats. There is also a huge selection of Middle Eastern cooking ingredients, jams, condiments, and other staples. Finally there are fresh foods from the deli counter like 5 varites of olives, fresh feta's, and more. Highly recommended...
