"Some things about the work environments at this location"
The problems are from the management team. They are Uneducated, disorganized, bullies, and Lack communication skills one hundred percent; they worship their position so much that bullied staff better watch what they say around them, and they pretty much have nasty attitudes that upset customers and teammates. I remember "two staff members were reported" to the hiring manager and another by customers but did not get written up. Instead, Managers and staff would laugh and talk about the upset customers and team members. A "team" wanted to go on break later and was written for that. They F up the shift and system and wrote her up for that. Bullying and Harassment became so overbearing for some, especially for those who did not care to speak up but rather left. Others are holding on, waiting for a new job to escape the madness. One fake manager was so nasty with her attitude that not only did staff hate her, but customers talked about her hostility. I prayed that they train the managers and pay for Educations and the NYS of health certification because they do not know proper procedures and Ethical Standards. The food and the location are not the problem: "But don't worry; the store is in the hospital!" • New people are constantly hired and are not trained, especially per the NYS of Health. "Sure, they can do the online training, but watch their approach towards the food industry. • I remember a staff member's thumb was in the soup "because she was not wearing a glove," the customer refused to take it, which resulted in an agreement, and the manager did nothing but refund. • Rules are set for some staff while favorites shop for free food to take home and give to friends or families who stop by the store. • • Staff will bully other staff through managers and trainers’ requests. • Some staff are overworked and complain behind managers backs. • Managers will sit on their social phones and bully specific staff to get it all done without help when short-staffed. • "Please don't quit," I saw told when I had decided enough; I stupidly did not at the time. • I correct what is not proper procedures, but this can become up-setting to managers who will clarify that "there is only one manager, and that was her." I can go on and on about a lot more in this unfair work environment but My review is not to degrade the company in any way, and the food is excellent, but better food distributions, training and Educations need to be in place to prevent a...
Read moreThis is one the best hospitals clean safe & friendly staff Unfortunately the Panera Bread inside offers horrible customer service Starting with the Manager Dery I was in disbelief at how rude mean and grouchy she was close to 8am on a Monday Morning, so I walked away and decided to place my order on the kiosk to avoid her rudeness. As I’m placing my order a lady goes up to her and asks for the hot latte she ordered not a Frappuccino.. the manager got nasty with her and the customer was getting mad saying why are you so nasty with customers. The menu had food that the kitchen did not have the sauce that went with it. The counter all dirty with No napkins No sugar , The worst part is the employees working making food all looked so sad & tensed up . This is Abuse No one should ever go to work to be putting up with any one’s labor Abuse because of a So called title of Manager or supervisor Respect is earned. & Given . This Person so called Manager should be fired . They think they are untouchable. Bad service means Bad management!!!!!! I stayed in hospital 5 days at that point I was just ordering food from close...
Read moreThere is no service. If you want something that is in the display case right in front of you you have to scroll through a screen to order it. Once you place your order (no receipt provided) your name is printed in 1 inch page so inappropriately for everyone to see sitting on the counter. It is so sad that this establishment represents the only option for food in the hospital - it’s a heartless space with user inefficiency and while I was there for 10 minutes, three people walked out, not wanting to deal with the screens. Note all the workers were changing shifts when I was there on one of my last visits and I overheard one girl say to the other, why should we come in on time and we’re not even treated...
