It's hard to find a good cake these days that is not too bland, like Paris Baguette, Red leaf and Apollo or too sweet like most that use buttercream. But Apollo's chestnut and cream cake is great too. I was at my son's friend's birthday party and had this Tres Leches cake for the first time. It was the perfect sweetness and moist. I ended up taking the leftovers cake home. On my son's birthday I also bought the same 8" Tres leches cake for the party. One factor on how moist is the cake depends on when the cake was made. I didn't order the cake in advance but walked in the same morning as the party. Parking was easy up front. The bakery was clean and the service was good. One cake I saw on display had a crack on the side so I chose the one inside. I also bought a slice of Oreo cake and a few empanadas to try. My wife likes the Tres Leches cake and I like the Oreo cake more. Next birthday party, I will order the Oreo cake since it reminds...

This hidden gem has had a high turn around in terms of lease owners, but this is by far the best Argentinian bakery and they are here to stay.

Now I truly enjoy my other Argentinian & Uruguayan bakery in Jackson heights, but best believe that these are so moist and filling that you’ll never go anywhere else again.

They also provide cost savings when you buy a dozen $20, which helpful during these times we are All enduring.

If you haven’t heard or dropped in yet, you must.

They also make a mean pumpkin spice latte with whipped cream to die for and their pastries and freshly baked breads/hero’s/turtle rolls are seriously, a delicacy 🤤

I recently moved closer to Junction Blvd and this is the nearest cafe/bakery to me. I started going there almost every morning for coffee and breakfast while renovating the new place because their empanadas are so good.

The Spinach empanada is amazing and so filling while being reasonably priced.

The guava pastries are always soft ands sweet. If you come early in the morning, you can catch them while they're still hot.
