Absolutely the most disgustingly, rude women working at this place. I noticed that when queen bee dread-locked library lady opened the door and spoke to everyone but me. Went out of her way not to make eye contact or speak to me. One has to wonder if she is a serious racist who doesn't like white people. Their WIFI didn't work at all, took forever to load. I asked nasty rude lady #2 working at the front desk why it was not working and she brushed me off and said "it hasn't worked right in weeks" and went back to what she was doing. When I asked nasty, rude lady #1 who I could complain to about it she kept cutting me off and saying it wasn't their fault. I thought I'd use the computers in the library, since I could not use mine and kept trying to scan my library card, which I was having trouble doing. Nasty rude lady #2 saw my struggle but just stood there and did not offer any assistance. She did voice her displeasure, however, when I had the audacity to go to the teen section (which I did not know) and tell me I had to go to the adult section. I asked her how to log on and she said "go scan your card". I told her she saw me struggling with it and it was not working and she had some other lame excuse. I then asked her why she and everyone were so rude and she looked astounded, as if she had no idea she was being blatantly nasty to me. (she damn well did know she was) . She then proceeded to insult my intelligence further by saying "god bless you" at the top of her lungs several times. Yes, her non existent god allows her and her buddy to be so disgusting towards their fellow human beings. Go to hell lady. How ya like...
Read moreI am a med student, and this was my first visit to this library. I understand why some people have mixed feelings about the staff. While there are definitely some friendly and helpful employees, others came across as unexpectedly rude. For example, I sat down at a table in the adult area, and the librarian asked whether I was an adult in an unnecessarily rude manner. I also accidentally entered a bathroom designated only for children, simply because I wasn’t aware, but the same rude staff member at the front desk knocked on the door obnoxiously harsh. Another inconvenience is accessing the quiet study area. You must be escorted by security every single time, even if a friend is already inside and could open the door for you. I was yelled at for asking my friend to open the door for me, and it felt a bit excessive at times, but I’m sure there’s a reason behind the policy. Overall, I will not return here to study ever again just because of that one staff who clearly does not want any patrons to be there, but it is a good place for the locals...
Read moreThe worst library ever, not ND friendly and even their activities are very rigid and not inclusive at all. If they cater towards only specific group, then should have put a notice. My kid has autism but he is usually calm. Every time we visit there, they always makes comments and seems very unhappy including the security guard also. I don’t know what my kid has done to them. My kid joined tap dance for the first time. They didn’t let a boy join the class and don’t know the reason why. Shocking ! I wish there is more activities which is more inclusive as it’s 2025, we are not living in a Stone Age. Also training for the staffs to be more empathetic and inclusive. I am also aware that sadly no amount of training will teach...
