I just had to share my experience. I ordered a pizza last night online and mistakenly put in for Carry-Out instead of Delivery like I normally do. No problem, I thought to myself. The store is only a few blocks away. I'll just go pick it up. Boy, am I glad I did.
A lady (Charlene/Charmaine...?) was serving customer's ahead of me. But none the less, the minute I walked in the door she smiled, made eye contact with me, and greeted me with a warm and friendly "Welcome to Papa John's. I'll be with you in a minute." She then went on to service the gentleman in line ahead of me who discovered slight issue with his order. She promptly corrected the situation (which was no fault of hers) and he left the store with a smile on his face. When it was my turn she once again greeted me and began to engage me with friendly conversation regarding my order. She then went on to properly "I.D." me by asking to my I.D. and to see the credit card that I used to place the order online, all without making me feel like a "Suspect", like some places do when you use a credit card to make a purchase. When my pie was ready she placed it on the counter in front of me and checked it to make sure it was okay. Then she asked if there was anything else I needed and made a few upsell suggestions (soda, dessert items, etc.). I politely declined and thanked her as I picked up my items and proceeded to leave the store. As I was leaving, she gave me an equally warm farewell by saying, "Enjoy your Papa John's pizza. Come back soon." All this OUTSTANDING customer service stopped me dead in my track. I had to turn to her and ask if she was the Manager. She said, no, while pointing to the Manager and called him by name. He was working on making pizza's but stopped for a moment to look up, wondering what was going on. I announced to the manager, "SHE IS GOOD! DO WHATEVER YOU HAVE TO DO TO KEEP HER. SHE SHOULD BE TRAINING OTHERS ON HOW TO PROVIDE GENUINE CUSTOMER SERVICE." He smiled and thanked me for the compliment. He and I then had a few friendly exchange of words, and I thought to myself, wow, he's just as nice as she is. I proceeded to leave the store when all the other workers chimed in wishing me a warm and heartfelt "Good Night".
All this is to say, that if I had not made that error in my order by making it for a Carry-Out instead of a Delivery, I would have never experienced these wonderful people right here at my local Papa John's in St. Albans, NY.
Oh! And let me not forget to mention my Extra Large, ALL THE MEATS Pizza was FANTASTIC!
Thank you again to the Papa John's St....

I said because i come inside he didn't answer my hello back neither why i was there... that he ignores me. The young guy said he doesn't have to answer me back because he was busy ( i was even suprise about his answer, i was chocked ). In my conversation with the young guy, the manager in the back came to the front and started to talk now and yell at me( i was not even talking to him ) and he took the pizza back to the front, he was yelling for no reason and want even called the cops (because i was a costumer and didn't have good service ?? ). Well i didn't fight neither said bad words because i respect elder people ( culturally ) and he was arround my dad age. No manners No étiquettes No good services No eyes contact. I called uber to cancel my order, hopefully having my refund back ASP. They should close this papajohns Or renonvate and...
Read morePizza delivery guy was rude and their prices are too expensive for one small pizza, they charge 18 dollars but the last time the guy told me $11 dollars. so why did the price changed so quick? and for a small pizza with no topping for $18 is too expensive and made no sense it's that amount. Also don't order from here. The delivery guy was rude asking us to count the money. threating us saying he will cancle our order and not give us the pizza when we clearly gave him 24 dollars 1 dollar extra. The pizza came up to $23 dollars but we gave him $24 instead. And he was rude about it. they are very disrespectful. just order from someone else. these workers will take their problem out on you or your pizza. and their pizza have a...
