Papa Mikes Brick Oven Pizza — Restaurant in New York

I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone! Horrible, horrible food. The only reason they are getting one star is because the Amazon delivery happened in the estimated delivery window. I bought a $1.25 can of sprite, got a Ginger Ale. I was supposed to get two sodas, and only got one. I'm just amazed that not only did they forget the quantity of sodas, but forgot the type I asked for. It gets worse. The "cheese breadsticks" are just cheap and awful smelling American Cheese slices molten onto bread. The "garlic knots" are small twists of dough with very artificial (and god knows what it really was) garlic sprinkled on top. I had also ordered a cheeseburger with fries and soda. If you absolutely MUST order from this restaurant, please avoid the cheeseburger deluxe entirely. They didn't include a soda, the fries are stale and cold, and the burger has no cheese, is super dry and chewy for some reason, and cold.The mozzarella sticks smelled like week old oil, were super fried to the point where it was like biting into a thin wooden stick. Finally, the mozzarella sticks. I ended up throwing away the entire meal for the fear of getting sick from eating it all. I just couldn't understand why the food smelled so terrible, it was like something out of kitchen nightmares!! I wish I could get my money back, but will know to avoid this restaurant...

I've written plenty of reviews over the years and this is probably the first time I've ever had to give 1 star to any restaurant. 1 star because of the shocking service. I didn't even have the chance to order, much less eat anything. It was just an old man working behind the counter when we walked in, and he pretended like he didn't see us. We figured we'd give him the benefit of the doubt, as he maybe didn't see us and somehow also didn't hear us either. But after standing there for several minutes waiting for him to finish what he was doing and trying to place an order, he literally turned his back to us and walked to the back like we weren't just speaking to him.

Then I read other reviews that mentioned he is "biased" towards certain people / genders. And that is exactly the sentiment we felt at that moment as well, since we are very kind and respectful people - there is no way we could have offended anyone by simply saying "Hi, can we order..." All after waiting patiently for him to even look at us, then followed by him turning his back to us and literally just walking away in the other direction.

I would never come back or spend even 1 penny on a business run by someone like...

Absolutely worst customer service in the area,noone knows anything about there establishment or food prices,and upon waiting for answeres they completely leave u standing there ignoring u to a point where u just walk out..and u would be sadly mistaken I only rate according to service,and no incidents like that...really cause this is literally the second time I walked in with my family inquiring about catering delivery, first time was last year and the exact same thing happened the old man making pizza doesn't know anything and then just ignores you,then the other really skinny dude also has no idea about catering and pushed it off to the old man making pizzas,let's not even mention THE FREEZER FULL of frozen pre packaged food u use as "Italian food" pls stop saving face I've eaten your food enough to know the bs ur restaurant is about now...
