This place truly has some of the best pastries, cakes, cookies,...whatever you can think of. Very old school Italian bakery and not only does everything taste great, everything looks just as good, everything has a beautiful presentation. I would have given them 5 stars across the board, but I gave them 1 star for service because one of the ladies behind the counter yelled at me because I was taking pictures of the cases. The ironic part is I was taking pictures so I can leave a great review, but when the lady told me " I need to get the hell out" because I took another picture after she told me not too, I quickly paid for my 3 cannolis and left. But the other woman who was actually helping me was awesome and very friendly. But I did leave with a terrible taste in my mouth, never did someone ever speak to me thst way for just about nothing. So, to be fair, I still recommend this place, food is great and that's what it is really about. Hopefully, you don't cross paths with the miserable women that kicked me out, she should not be behind that counter or even interact with people at all...not good for business, just saying.

Wow First thing I said when I took a bite. We purchased one of the fancy-looking hamburgers a lobster tail mini cheesecake 2 cannolis a cup of this moose with all this chocolate all over it I can't remember the name of it and had a little something something here for my birthday. I love this to be my birthday cake. You have so many varieties. We took a trip to my old stomping grounds I used to live in Greenpoint in the 80s grew up there. We live in Jersey now. It was great to smell the air and see the people a very special treat from your bakery it's good to have a good taste of History I can't find a bakery that's as good as yours. The so called Cake Boss is no match. The place was extremely clean the atmosphere was beautiful and the workers were more than helpful. They converse with you. And made you feel welcome. Thank you for a very good day keep up the great work.

First time came here to buy a cake which was moist and very chocolate-y. 10/10 Came back to buy another cake and some pastries. Since we are new to Italian desserts we asked the older saleswoman for recommendations and what were the ingredients. The presentations of the desserts were appealing but the taste was lacking. Also had a hard time understanding her because her accent was thick, which is why I wish the ingredients and price was listed. Led us to the bad experience. We chose a cake that supposedly had some hazelnut flavor (small niccola -$38). It wasn't very good. We also bought some pastries from the glass containers on the right side that came out to be $4 per piece (peachx2, lemon, chocolate, strawberry jam). Only the lemon tasted good. Than we bought marzipan priced at $25/pound. This was almond paste and was as hard as rocks and very strong almond taste. It was so expensive because the paste was very dense, we bought a few pieces and it came out to be over a pound. Seriously regretted because the taste was all the same inside, it just looked different. You can save on tax if you pay cash. The main con I found was that most of the items did not have a price tag so it was basically whatever price they told us. I wish I took more pictures but I was really turned off/disappointed by the taste and embarrassed since we bought it for family birthday party.

There are lots of different types of desserts and bread here. They also have gelato. Usually theres a line to order, but totally worth it! 😂 When you enter the shop, to the left is where the gelatos are, bread is towards the left-center and then the rest of the store is the cakes and pastries. You would get online near the center of the store and then wait for one of the workers to assist you in ordering the things you want. Then they get everything and you go pay at the cash register to the far right of the store. I got some cannolis, tiramisu and a cheesecake this time going. The cannolis are very fresh and not overly sweet 🙂, which is the reason why I usually come here to get them. 👍 overall a good experience at the store and when eating the desserts I got.
