Patmar Bake shop — Restaurant in New York

Someone brought a bakery box full of patties to a luncheon that I was at recently. They were absolutely superb. I inquired about where they got them and I decided to purchase some for myself. You do have to order those particular items at least 2 hours in advance. Be warned. However, there were two other varieties that I decided to sample as well. They were equally as good. I am ashamed to say that I purchased with the intention of sharing. I consumed quite a bit myself and when I offered the veggie patties to my vegan son, he did not share his either. I’ve been going to this bake shop for several years now; and I’ve been disappointed only once. I got there and they were closed for the holidays. Their breads are usually hot off the press, and so are a few of their baked goods. The customer service is impeccable. The ladies always smile and are very friendly. The owner is a superb guy, and he pays attention to his patrons. The food is great and the bread is to die for; and this is probably the only place in the world where I can still buy meat loaf patty.
