Prolonged allergic reaction of recurring randomly located itching and urticaria from their formulation of Buproprion. Completely unable to find out what the inactive ingredients are in their formulation that could contribute to a potential allergy. Got tossed around to somebody in the Philippines who referred me to someone in India. Glassdoor reviews from former employees seem to indicate that the company fails to invest in new equipment or better talent. Who knows where the drugs are even coming from. Several other reviewers have posted prescriptions that were manufactured in southern China yet sold through Queens, New York. Several successive US administrations have had the state department place pressure upon the FDA to stop doing inspections of foreign pharmaceutical manufacturers without advance warning. If generic manufacturers abroad are introducing contaminants accidentally, it's not going to be caught. Please heavily research generic manufacturers before you fill a prescription. CVS gave me my refill of generic Venlafaxine XR capsules but they were all pink made by Epic pharma instead of gray and I think white. I have taken this drug since 1996!! Something is wrong with the new Epic capsules. They give me a terrible stomach ache at night, much worse than the general mild stomach ache I get from the previous version. Sometimes I’m up half the night. I wonder if I am even feeling discomfort when the extended release kicks in. . Occasional brief but weird bouts of sadness. I googled Epic pharma and all their site had was 2 pages of fine print like an RX insert of warnings. Then I found all the reviews of Epic on Google. Scary. I had horrible quality issues with two containers of prescription medication. The company’s lack of response is deplorable. Their office is closed on weekends, so I had to wait until Monday to report that the seal on my medications were puckered and stuck to the lid. The medication had a horrible taste and I needed them to issue a voucher to my pharmacy so I can get a replacement. The Epic Pharma rep said I would need to wait “indefinitely” for their quality dept to respond. How do they expect patients to go without medication for an indefinite period of time and why don’t they take this issue seriously?
