I’m always delighted to give a business positive reviews, but I was a bit disappointed over here.
I came here a few weeks ago for authentic Italian breads. I prefer Italian bread made with quality, extra-virgin olive oil. Their ciabatta’s, loaves, and breads are made with vegetable shortening, which are known to have a lot of saturated fat.
I personally try to avoid saturated fats because it can lead to many health problems. Upon reading the ingredient list on one of their packages, I inquired about the ciabatta, and they confirmed that their breads are made with shortening.

Read moreI'm not a sweets guy, but had a random intense craving for some Italian sprinkle cookies, during the storm, on Tuesday evening. Popped my head in to satiate that craving. The streets and the shop were empty, with the weather, but I was treated like family, despite not being a frequent customer. I left with a smile on my face, and the cookies hit the spot, while I cozied up to a movie at home. Never realized they also do breakfast sandwich type stuff too, until now.
