I won’t lower my rating just because the food is amazing — it truly is. However, I do want to point out some issues, and I hope the management reads this and takes it into account. I’ve dined inside the restaurant multiple times, and the experience has always been excellent — friendly and welcoming staff, delicious food, and a great atmosphere. But the delivery service doesn’t quite live up to the in-house experience. First, the delivery time is often longer than expected. Second, the accuracy of the order needs improvement. I frequently order the Marakand salad, which allows you to choose the style of eggs. No matter what I select, it always arrives the same way. Last time I specifically ordered sunny side (as you can see in the screenshot), but got something else again. Also, although I requested utensils, none were provided. On the bright side, I was pleasantly surprised to see sour cream included with the manty, and the dough on the manty is absolutely perfect — soft and melts in your mouth. The flatbread was cold, unfortunately. But I appreciated the small bonus salad that came with the pilaf — a nice and tasty touch. Overall: excellent food, but there’s definitely room for improvement in the delivery service.

First and definitely last dine in experience. Worst, rude and uninformed waiter, average food. No welcoming at the first entrance, nobody helped to get seated. Waiter (skinny, bearded and short guy)who taking care of us has an attitude and extrelemy rude. We wanted to start with vostok salad. It hundred percent has cilantro inside which is not shown in the menu. We called the rude waiter and asked it has any cilantro that we dont really like it, and he said theres no cilantro in the salad. But you know cilantro has a taste that is impossible to unnoticed. And then i said okay, i called another waiter and asked same question and he didnt get anything about my question and he informed one guy looks like a floor manager, he was a nice person then he helped us and brought a new salad without cilantro. Everybody said no but new salad hadnt that weird cilantro taste, so there was cilantro. Anyway, waiters dont know anything about serving. They dont even approach the table, trying to give you the plates from 6 feet away and i was like oh i could reached you and took the plate thank you. After all terrible service they added %18 gratuity which is illegal. I never recommend this disgrace restaurant

This restaurant serves superb, authentic Achiq-Chuchuk salad (Tashkent City specialty), umami Hash soup (Tajik offal food cuisine), excellent, juicy Liver Kebab (Uzbek/Tajik), savory Marokand Salad (à la French). If you want to try traditional food combinations: 1) order Green Tea or say “yak ta fameel choi” (after it’s brought out, let it steep for 15-20 minutes to activate tannins that will help with digestion) with 2 skewers of Liver Kebab or say “doot tah jeeghar, please”, and one round bread or say “yak ta no-on”. This should be plenty for a nice, comfortable meal (you won’t feel stuffed if you drink tea after having finished the liver). Combination #2, order Green Tea and let it steep on your table until after you are done with all food, at the same time order Achiq Chuchuk salad as your appetizer, and place an order for Bayram Osh (savory, staple rice pilaf dish), this is enough food for two people without feeling stuffed and regretting it later 😀. Ask away for more combinations if needed. The language enclosed is Tajik but you can also speak Russian, Uzbek or English as well. Please note that 18% tip is automatically included in the bill. Enjoy!

Horrible customer service. I have ever had such a horrible customer service and treatment the first time in my life.

I and my American friend took a flight from Mountain View, CA to Manhattan, NY for our business trip. As recommended by one of my Uzbek friends, we took over 1 hour long Uber ride all the way from Manhattan to Brooklyn to have Uzbek dinner, being excited. And Russian speaking young waitress greeted us at entrance, and it seemed she speaks 0 English. My friend was simply silenced as my friend speaks only English. I had a little struggle to understand their menu and asked waitress for some questions and found it hard to answer for some of her questions as well. The same waitress has frown upon us, rolled her eyes and shook her head as if we were low quality human beings, and she was vividly showing she was disgusted and hated us being in there. She was very unhappy working there, very tired and did not want to serve the customers. It was very horribly rude to me and my friend. However, we continued to be nice.

I totally regretted bringing my friend to this Sherdor restaurant and ashamed myself. My friend left with extremely negative impression as if it was typical in Central Asia. And it's not typical in Central Asia as I know. Never and ever visiting this horrible restaurant again. Shame on you. Меня опозорила от души.

My recommendation, please let your waitress learn the basics of manner and customer service. People come to your restaurant for your service, and they pay for it. Do not expect everyone in your area to speak Russian, some people speak only English too, and would like to try Uzbek cuisine, and they may not be so familiar with your menu. It's waitress's job to put smile on their face and help customers to decide food and answer their questions politely. I would not put even 1 star but no choice.

Good thing is that food was indeed very decent, very tasty and...
