Bubble tea lovers, be warned - The bubble tea at this place is downright disappointing and not worth the insanely high price of $7. It is not authentic in taste whatsoever, and the tapioca pearls texture is grainy & frankly, very off-putting. I ordered a Brown Sugar Milk Bubble Tea, and it tasted like coffee milk rather than like tea. I’m not sure where the coffee taste comes from, but as someone who drinks bubble tea often, I was beyond disappointed in Ivan’s amateur attempt at bubble tea (with a not-so-amateur price tag). The pastries don’t appear to be made in-house, and are served ice cold right out of the fridge. No care and attention is taken to detail, and the flavor is subpar. I was hopeful that this new business would be a great additional to the neighborhood, but it unfortunately adds nothing except for subpar, inauthentic, and overpriced bubble tea and average pastries that you can get from anywhere else. This neighborhood deserves better than what Ivan offers. It’s just another wannabe “cute place” that actually has no substance to back it up whatsoever. I called to inquire about their UBE coffee, and to my delight, they had it available, crafted with genuine passion and care. The service I received from Alex and Noah was nothing short of outstanding. Their knowledge and skilled. They told me it wasn’t on the menu yet but they can make it for me. I felt so happy because I was calling coffee shops all over Brooklyn and no oneI reached out to learn more about their UBE coffee, and I was thrilled to discover they had it in stock, made with genuine enthusiasm and meticulous attention. I've started coming here pretty often! As a barista of many years myself I recommend them. They have quality espresso drinks. The Spanish Latte is my favorite as well as their Cortado. The food and pastries are tasty. They do currently only have one barista so if you're coming during a rush hour be aware that you will have to wait longer. The barista is always so nice and does his best. They have free wifi and seating for studying or working. Good overall atmosphere. I enjoy it here.

PS. I was here during the interaction of the customer who left a 1 star review about gloves ~ Respectfully, it couldn't have been about the gloves. I was the one who ended up eating this sandwich, as I had watched it be made while waiting to order (barista used black, nitrile food-handling gloves) and I felt comfortable eating it.
