If you need some late night food in the West Village… hit up @smashednyc 🍔 They also have a spot in LES but there is no shortage of late night eats there 😅 This cheeseburger had everything I needed. Soft potato bun with a nice shmear of their smashed sauce (mayo sauce that is also delish with fries), super smashed patty with gooey cheese, pickles and raw + grilled onions. I went way out the way. to check this place for lunch. I was a bit disappointed. Fries where soggy, cheese sauce was chunky with hard flakes of dried cheese like it was sitting for a while. Spent 30 bucks today. To try something new. That's the risk you take. Wasn't a complete waste the burger was decent. Will not be returning.

Informed them of my corn allergy and they assured me the gluten free bun had no corn but they did not have the ingredients. I asked for a lettuce bun just bacon cheese and a burger. Thousand island was on it which I am extremely allergic to because I have a corn allergy as I mentioned. Disappointing. The fries are like McDonald's fries... not fresh or remotely decent and those probably have some type of corn in them too as McDonalds have dextrose which is a corn derivative. Will just go to five guys in the future. Hate to be the first review / a bad review but for the sake of others if you have allergies do not go here! I'm a burger guy. And this place is a solid pick, I just won't go out my way for it. I'm not trying to get down on it, or talk crazy about them. The service was pretty good, the guy who took my order was very nice and attentive.

Burger was good, I got the Big Shmac, which is like a Big Mac and it was good. The burger has great crust and is lacey but honestly not anything to write home about. I'm thinking if I got a triple burger I would be happier. The regular sized fries was small as hell. For the price I say nah.

7th street burger is more substantial and I would recommend over this place.

Top smash burger in nyc. Top 3 currently.

I got the double. And my friend got the bacon jalapeño. Both are perfect. They are a good amount of burger with mean overflowing from the bun. The design is this journey from meat to toppings to mean. Delicious throughout the entire burger

A double is a lot of food.

Got the smashed with chilli and cheese. Which was also great but don’t think I needed them.
