Steam'r Cafe — Restaurant in New York

Came here on grand opening day. Staff was so kind and friendly. Drinks were great. I ordered a cappuccino and a fresh pressed orange juice — both were absolutely wonderful. They have an orange juicing machine that you can see so you know you are getting the good stuff.

The pastries look delightful, and I’m happy to report the matcha loaf is good! It’s slightly sweet with a slight matcha taste.

My partner ordered the matcha latte and it is perfect for true matcha lovers. They offer sweetened and unsweetened so you can get the exact flavor profile you want.

I’ve been so excited to see this cafe open and I’m happy to report it’s well worth the trip!

Yea idk how many times I've walked 15 minutes plus for them to be closed despite their set hours. Today I get there at 4:18pm and the front door is locked and the horrid employee (who btw does not open the cafe on time bc I've met this same person there after having to trek to another coffee shop and on my return it was open and this SAME guy insulted my intelligence by saying it had been open the entire time) to tell me and I quote "it's slow and he has better shit to do" after I mentioned hours being marketed up to 5pm. Is this not your shift and job? The worst customer service like who says that to a patron not to mention money lost bc id rather chew glass than patron....

I wish a place like this—new, cozy, and modern—had opened years ago… I've lived in the area for over 10 years, and the truth is, there aren't any places like this where you can have a good cup of coffee, a delicious meal, and enjoy some quiet time. Thank you for investing in the neighborhood, and I'll continue shopping locally and supporting...
