Subway, and it's motto, Eat Fresh, is kinda an oxymoron. Yes, I happen to enjoy a lot of the sandwiches and heros that subway tends to offer. Including the chicken bacon ranch, the meatball marinara sandwich, the subway club, subways cold cut combo, the subway melt, the spicy Italian, and the Italian BMT. Basically, I love the classics. However, this particular location, in Oakwood Heights I believe, is one of the more underserved subway restaruants I've ever been to in my entire life.. I would normally rate Subway, as an entity of establishments, with 3.5 or 4 stars. They have tasty and diet friendly options on their menu. The reason they don't get that extra 1.5 or 1 star to make it a perfect 5 star rating is because ALL of their lunch meat is not anywhere near 'FRESH' and in order to get it to their locations it needs to be frozen up until its relocation on that particular subways 'line'. I would drop this entity of establishments down to 2 stars on that fact Alone, BUT, they totally make up for that with the amount of actually fresh vegetables and condiments they have available to choose from, which are cut on a semi...
Read moreThey have a large variety of sandwiches and wraps. The prices are decent. Place is clean. There always coming out with a new sandwich. The service is really slow and they have only one person working and it's a lot of stuff to put on footlong sandwiches. So not only are u waiting a long time but customers after u are waiting long and the lines build up really fast because of this. Also they don't really have good specials and they don't take coupons. I dont see subways lasting much longer. There's better places to get better sandwiches. The place was empty and they still don't take coupons which isn't right. We're getting them from the marketeer. Why are they making and advertising coupons if they don't plan on taking them....
Read moreBeen there a couple times to get their salads. And every time the salads get smaller and smaller. They don't even fill them to the top. I literally had to ask them to add more lettuce, the cucumbers and tomatoes are counted at 4 slices and cut in half to make it seem like you're getting more. Each salad is well over 10$. It cost me over $31 for 2 salads and a sandwich. Talk about skimping out. I've been to other Subway's and they really fill the bowl. Never will I go there again. I can get a bigger salad from the pizzeria across the street for less. My 2 cents. P.S. if you're the owner and see this, you just lost 4 customers. The reviews speak for them selves. Can all these bad reviews be wrong? I...
