The Rail Bar & Grill — Restaurant in New York

Note the BEAR in the photos who has a half NY Jet - half NY Giant helmet, aka as the BI-Polar Bear. The Rail is also the home of the Howard Beach Polar Bears. Food is intermittent and was WINGS only during football, but see photo for Opening Thursday Nite football. Also located nearby a Great Deli (Sal's around the corner), Chinese Take-out (at the corner), and "Neighborhood Pizza" (yes that's the name) provide food at other times.

I was with a group from out of town and we chose to go here. Its a small bar with a lot of regulars. Everyone was friendly and we spent about 2 hours just playing pool in the back. There's not a huge selection of food and they don't start serving it till 7. Mostly your typical bar food, chicken fingers, fries, onion rings, and wings. I flew in from Australia, we got the sky train from the airport to here. Walked out and my friend said. Oh there is a pool table I said let’s go in. We orders a drink each. This place made amazing strong vodka drinks. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The pool table was pretty good. It was for free which was amazing. It was a Sunday so there was sandwiches on the house. Was a good night definitely can’t wait...
