I've been coming to Etto since 2020 and I've had nothing but positive experiences. Employees past and present are all professional, friendly, and helpful. Negative review from today is laden with liesāthe woman posting them became irate and spewed bigotry in front of multiple witnesses and several cameras because she was dismayed at having to ask for a different type of milk (which is a completely normal occurrence at a coffee shop, you would think). She was very keen on expressing her racist beliefs after what she perceived to be an inconvenience, accusing workers of being undocumented and assuming the race of witnesses around her. That is the kind of business owner Howard Beach DOES NOT need. I cannot imagine what her employees, friends, and family members have to deal with on a day to day basis. Frank did what he had to do to address people disrespecting his employees and establishment, and I'll continue to support Etto even more...

I loved the raspberry rosĆ© lemonade! Iām not a big coffee drinker but I went in for a cool drink and was surprised by the variety of non-coffee drinks.
The baristas were very patient with my indecisiveness. They were super helpful and took time to describe everything for me.
It looks like a lot of local regulars come here. (They seem to know peopleās names and drink preferences.)
I also shared the almond croissant and the prosciutto sandwich with my friend. The sandwich was a good balance of meat and cheese and fig paste. So yummy. Croissant was also delicious.
Parking is available in back if street is full. There is a small amount of outdoor seating.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI walked into an empty Etto and there were two men that I can see in the back talking and they saw me standing there and ignored me. After a few minutes later a lady with dark colored hair came out and ask what I would like (very lack luster). I asked if they sold breakfast sandwiches with brioche buns and she replied with an attitude (gave a rude look) and said she doesnāt know what Iām talking about and said no. She was rude and lacked professionalism. As far as I can tell the men did not tell her a customer was waiting in the front so I am not sure what prompted her to come to the register. She was rude and seemed very disinterested. I am sure if I was of another race she would have addressed me differently. Not surprised being that I was in...
