Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in New York

I ordered an online order and waited like 30-35 minutes for my food. The workers were completely unprofessional and goofing off without even acknowledging my friend and I. It was so loud in there and not even from the customers, it was the WORKERS. I was in there for like a total of 40 minutes and another worker came out from the bathroom after like 25 minutes of me being in there, so I don’t even know how long she was in there, and was still ignored by her as well. Completely disgusting behavior and I will NOT be returning to this location ever again. Normally I’m not the type of person to be writing a bad review because I’d just brush off that kind of behavior because teenagers/college kids do it sometimes, but this time was just unacceptable. After maybe 20 minutes of waiting for my food, I decided to go to the counter to ask when it would be ready, and they still ignored me for 10 minutes and decided THEN to stop the chit chat and do their jobs. I dont understand how this behavior is acceptable. DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANNA WAIT 30 MINUTES FOR YOUR FOOD. And to the manager of this store, if you read this, there needs to be some serious action taken against the workers. There was two girls on the smoothies, the one girl in the bathroom, and one guy on the food. The guy was fine and did his job accordingly, but the girls absolutely didn’t and just screwed around...

usually they’re pretty solid but today on 3/5 i went in there 10:55AM for a pickup, pickup was for 10:58AM. had to wait till 11:07AM for this young black lady at the register to stop flirting with the dude from LA fitness that came in after me and finally give me my drink. She made his 3 drinks before everyone else and let a line of 4 build up. tried to get her attention the whole time and tell her she had my drink already made and on the counter but she ignored every attempt to get attention. I never write reviews at all but Ive never been ignored with so much effort. She ignored her job so bad and tended to this dudes whole order in front of me. It was so ridiculous that even her coworkers were complaining for her to take care of the customers multiple times while they made the food. I was there so long, I could recite the whole dialogue of the conversation. Im a fan of young love, but for the love of god just get the number and save it for after work. My smoothie was already partially watered down by the time I got it and all she had to do was acknowledge my presence and give me what was already made. Do better and stop your team...
