The service is simply amazing, quick, friendly, and heartwarming. When making a reservation, it was incredibly simple, quick and easy; the hostess was extremely friendly and made the reservation with ease.
Now onto our dinner. Our server, Emily, was so sweet, kind, and demonstrated what perfect service looks like. For example, when I asked to replace my Diet Pepsi, she brought it over in less than a minute. When she saw that my hands were in the plastic gloves I used to dig into my seafood pile and was oily, she offered to open the new straw for me, leaving the tip covered still as to ensure it doesn't get dirtied. I've seen so many waiters and waitresses simply throw down a bunch of straws onto the table that this simple, yet considerate gesture made our experience so much more enjoyable and heartfelt. I want to thank you Emily, for being so sweet to my family and I! (:
Now onto the food. The portions were huge and adjustable based on your preference (I.e., you can order half a pound of crab legs or five pounds), and each comes with whatever sauce or seasoning you prefer. The food started off a bit on the slower end, even for the appetizers and soups, but then the speed hastened perhaps due to it being a bit less busy. We didn't mind it and we enjoyed our appetizers and entrees, with the obvious winner being the Dungeness crab legs and snow crab legs! Our spicy garlic butter tasted the same as the garlic butter, so if you want it even spicier get the spiciest option. They also didn't have the fried lobster tail, which was a bummer, but everything else was pretty good!
Overall, it was a good AYCE option with its quality and pricing matching fairly well. If you go to other pay-per-pound seafood restaurants, it'll probably taste a bit more flavorful but definitely cost more. I believe the sauce could be adjusted to make it even tastier but that's just my personal preference!
Thank you to the staff and friendly bartender/owner for making us laugh, for being so kind to us, and for wishing my wife a happy birthday. Will definitely be back!

Read moreI've ordered from this establishment multiple times over the past year or two so I feel qualified to write a comprehensive review.
Every single order I have ever ordered from here has been messed up in one way or another except maybe once or twice. They constantly send regular fries when you choose sweet potato fries on the app. They forget drinks. Sometimes they send fountain soda sometimes its bottled. The either don't send any sauce for the sandwiches or they send the wrong one.
My previous orders were wrong so often that when I called they actually put me on the phone with the manager. His first words were "oh yeah I recognize your name because you order from here all the time." I kept giving them second chances but today was the last straw.
Today we ordered and I noticed right away both of our sandwiches were sent with the wrong sauce. I called to find out what happened and the girl I spoke to was nice but offered no solution other than "the kitchen messed up." I was hungry so I decided to eat the sandwich plain even though it's dry AF without sauce.
On my second bite into the sandwich, the shrimp tasted grainy and the smell made me feel like I was going to throw up. I have strong stomach and am not picky at all so if I couldn't handle it that's how you know it was really bad. I spit it out and immediately contacted the delivery service. They told me that the restaurant was willing to offer a $5 refund on a $15 sandwich. SOMEONE MAKE IT MAKE SENSE.
Now I have to order dinner somewhere else and threw $10 down the drain. Thanks a lot...
Read moreMy first time here at this place. Surprisingly the food was very good here. Seafood places generally are hit or miss and Staten Island usually manages to mess up even the best places, whether they are a chain or not. Making regular trips to Maryland, the snow crab legs, clams, oysters and mussels we ordered were better than I have had there. $56.00 for The Reel Catch Combo boil was pretty good price wise for the amount of food you get. The Cajun and Hook and Reel Special Blend sauces are what we had which were both very good with not too much kick. So why the 3 stars you ask? Well when I walked in with my 9 yo daughter I was offered a kids menu, only then to be told she could not eat off the kids menu because she was too tall!!!! Uuummm… what?!?! The hostess actually attempted to measure her up against a piece of molding placed in the middle of the wall. I said don’t bother, we are not ordering off that menu anyway, but for people who will, I would have lost my mind. This is especially nonsensical considering their kids menu says kids 12 and under. This is one of those Staten Island usually messes things up scenarios I mentioned earlier. If they continue to push that on families going there to eat with young kids I can guarantee this place will be closed within a year…like every other place that opens on Staten Island that doesn’t know how to...
