Urban halal grill — Restaurant in New York

This place is the GEM under the rubble! They have a down to earth chef named Kay. Entered the grill and was immediately met with a laugh and a smile from him, Great sense of humor! Hes extremely passionate about the service he provides. The food was awesome! So many options to try out! Unfortunately they don't have enough traffic during the day which was SHOCKING that not everything is available but doesn't matter. All the options that are can't MISS. We ate the Mac and Cheese Burger with a combo and woah! This restaurant is way too underground. EVERYONE HAS TO COME TRY THIS PLACE! and the FRIES ARE CRAZYY GOOD, nice large crispy fries with salt, pepper and urban sauce. The Mac and Cheese Burger was a 9/10 I expected it to be mushy but the double meat just made the burger with good structure and the Mac added a surprise! My friend had a grilled chicken and he was also delighted! After we were all done eating and started to work we felt SATISFIED, no greasy or digusted with ourselves, we felt POWERFUL. READY TO TAKE THE WORLD after that meal. Thank you Kay. Only thing is that theirs only 1 seat :( and a standing table, removing that cooler with the drinks and putting a small table would be a great add on. Last thing, this is a black owned LOCAL...

Came in after a long day of Saturday activities with my child - we were starving and a close friend suggested this spot. Soon as we walked in we were greeted - we felt welcomed. I purchased the pina colada seamoss, shrimp tacos (with sweet chili sauce ) and some fried Oreos. The tacos were so good! The shrimp was fresh all the veggies used in the taco were fresh - you can tell they made everything with good intention because the taste and the presentation was on point! Fried Oreos was a nice treat for me and my child we enjoyed those. I haven’t had the seamoss drink yet but it’s chilling in my fridge I’m sure it’ll be good. I’ll come back and leave a review of that also.

So I had a great experience with one employee and one alright cheese burger.. I liked the fact that they used what it looked to be unfrozen red fresh ground meat.. so I go for my second experience and customer service was trash and the big dude that owns the place acts very aggressive towards me giving his employee the right when she was being nasty ..almost fighting with me in front store.. he was saying if I record he was going to take my head off, while walking towards me as if he was going to attack me.. what...
