We attended a reunion here. The park is clean and well taken care of. There was lots of space so everyone wasn't bumping into each other. The reunion we attended was at picnic areas blue. It was not close to the parking lot. We had to walk a good distance. Also, the restroom that was visible to us was not close either it was across the lawn/field. O have to say the bathroom was clean and for a park bathroom. Floor was wet a little, but other than that, it was not bad, especially for what I've seen at other park bathrooms. This one had mirrors, soap, running water, and toilet paper. Other than that, everyone looked like they had a wonderful time. We even saw the ending of a cricket match happening when we went there. Roy Wilkins Park is the premiere athletic facility in south east queens. Many world class athletes have honed their athletic abilities on these grounds. The park hosts quite a number of athletic events year round that include track and field, football, soccer to name a few. Also from time to time you’ll be able to attend numerous live music events as we know that the neighboring St. Albans/Addisleigh Park community was the home of numerous famous musicians, entertainers, artists and actors.

Come to Roy Wilkins Park and you’ll also experience the urban farming co-operative that is locally run. Don’t forget the Black Spectrum Theatre that also calls Roy Wilkins Park it’s home. Feature and culture rich, there is nothing that Roy Wilkins Park doesn’t offer. Come and visit, you won’t be...
