My experience with this Wendy's is horrible and this is more than once. Today I simply ordered 2 frostyccinos, 1 vanilla and 1chocolate and 1 frosty (mixed van & choc) at the drive thru. The woman acted like she didn't understand and I repeated to clarify. They also had signs up advertising the frostyccino buy 1 small get one for $1for a limited time (no specifications on when the special ended). I asked her about it and she proceeded to tell me yes that was the special and that was my whole reason for trying it (1 for me 1 for my mom). As I pulled up to the window there was a whole confusion of her saying her manager said that the special was no longer available. So I asked her why were the signs there and they should honor it because they still have it advertised. She said she can either still make it for me for the regular price or just cancel it. My mom instead asked to replace it with a small choc frosty. Here we go again with having to break down a simple request.. I'm saying to myself why is this girl taking orders when she acts incapable. (SN: no language barriers or noticeably mental challenges just plain incompetence). Then as we were handed our order (another problem I have with this Wendy's, no gloves on or beverages/frosty's in a tray or bag. They just hand it to you thru the window and you have to always ask for spoons and straws like really smh) it was still wrong. They gave 1 vanilla frosty and my frostyccino didn't seem to be made properly so I asked another woman about it and she just wasn't any help. At this point I was completely done. They took back the vanilla and made the mixed and finally gave my mom her choc frosty after reminding them. Honestly I'm not a petty person, I actually try to always practice patience, but I've experienced less than sub par or professional service from this Wendy's on multiple occasions and had to air my grievances once...
Read moreIâve been working walking distance of this location for years and Iâve only been to this location 3 times according to google maps⊠that in itself should tell you a lot. The first time It was packed with school kids and there was no clear cut line or order so I walked out and went home. Second time I was here I ordered a meal with a drink & they gave someone else my order on accident and gave me another persons order which had bacon on it⊠I donât eat pork but they gladly made me my correct order which took more time than I had on my lunch break so it was an inconvenience. This time I went today 5/30/24 around 6pm and after taking my order the cashier decided to inform me that they are only taking exact cash (my order was $26.79) or card. Being that I just came from the gym I didnât have my card with me and I had told her it was okay and to cancel the order. She spoke harshly to me and said the order already went through and they are already preparing it⊠when I have yet to pay for my meal. She called over her supervisor who was nothing but respectful said if I had Apple Pay I could use that to which I do not. She went ahead and canceled my order and told the cooking staff not to prepare it. The cashier walked away exhaled and mumbled something under her breath as she walked away. I just decided to leave and go to the near by Japanese hibachi place two blocks over and it was cheaper. If exact change is all that is being taken with physical cash why is there no sign that says it upon entering nor a sign near the cashier? And why was the cashier upset with me as if I spend my free time at Wendyâs that I should know of that policy? Seems very outdated as this is post covid. I guess the third time isnât a charm. Thank you to the supervisor for her professionalism. Better off ordering Wendyâs...
Read moreThe young unlady like individual name Kayla made the rude and ghetto comments, âwhy is she still hereâ after I inquired about how I was not previously informed they did not have the item in my mobile order. I waited in line 20 minutes for them to tell me they did not have the item. They did not apologize for the inconvenience or offer any other item in the price range of my already placed order and just walked away from the window after saying âwe dont have the itemâ. Why work in customer service and food if you have no customer service skills. Learn to put your lashes on correctly before being rude to someone. I asked to speak to the manager on site and they completely ignored me. She needs to be written up and given customer service lessons. The entire crew was a joke. Its your job to provide customer service. Its not a suggestion. Based off the attitude I received from this franchise not having what I purchased that girl should be fired! Save yourself the stress and irritation, just go to the wendys on flatlands. theyâre always nice there. Unlike this location on ditmas. Its the worst wendys on brooklyn. Why stress people out...
