I was really hoping this place would be a great surprise with delicious tasting food for the local neighborhood. Sad to say that my family and I were let down. This business's focus on their own proprietary food delivery & ordering app and packaging flair (Bobby Flay! Wow!) obscures the fact that the quality of food simply isn't what the prices of their menu items seem to imply. A tremendous opportunity for passive licensing income for their "chef partners" - and an easy way to siphon money off of local customers by overcharging for food that can easily be beat by other truly local, established SI restaurants like Ruddy & Dean, Shaw-nae's, Kills Boro (their old Craft House), Hop Shoppe, Da Noi, Joe & Pat's, Goodfella's, and plenty others. Not sure how long Wonder West Brighton will last here. Appreciate the renovation of the old bank though, that abandoned building was decaying for years. The staff here are very polite and pretty quick. My order was: Creamed Spinach: $9 Mushroom & Truffle Mashed Potatoes: $9 Ribeye: $37 12 Naked Wings: $18.45 Beef Brisket: $18 =$91.45 (-$15.00 intro promo)
Attempt number 2 resulted in burnt pasta and an anorexic pizza pie. Both tasted not that great, and it was $20 for the pasta, $15.95 for the pizza pie.
Attempts 3 & 4 were met with the same mediocre food - oxymoronic upscale fastfood but only at upscale restaurant prices. Oh, and the pasta was burned again. Staff continue to be polite and respectful, and quick to serve up these dishes to go. When we run out of the promotional discounts, the non-discounted regular price points juxtaposed with this quality of food just don't make sense for...
Read moreI did not give a star rating for service or atmosphere because I only ordered food via grub hub. But if this review can help even one person I’ll have done something good.
I had a feeling that this place was some sort of weird cover up or fake thing and I was 1000% right. I tried the Detroit pizza place and I would assume someone from Detroit would cry if they tried this pizza. It was so disgusting. It had some of the worst tomato sauce I’ve ever taste. It felt like they opened a can of Prego or whatever generic can of sauce and poured it on. It tasted like spaghetti Os . If you’re thinking “but I like spaghetti Os” you won’t like this when you see the price tag. Just buy spaghetti Os for $3 instead of wasting $17 on a small personal pizza pie that barely feeds 2.
It was also incredibly salty but some people like that. We also tried a cookie they come from a place in Long Island City , NY they were really dry and overly sweet but they are gigantic so I suppose you’re getting your moneys worth.
I would stay away from wonder. I feel like it’s basically like buying frozen meals from the grocery store and having someone heat it up for at a 200% markup. Save your money and buy real pizza Staten Island has a lot of great pizza try literally anywhere else. Dominos looks like authentic NY pizza compared...

3 stars service because of the following: Front desk male employee (worked opening hours today) was very sweet and willing to help but he spoke extremely limited English and he did not have anyone to help him so it was incredibly frustrating. Customers, including myself, had questions about the company and food but he was totally unable to answer our questions or help. I even asked for a straw for my drink and he did not know what that was even after trying to “perform” how I’d use a straw. Please note, this is not a negative reflection of him as an employee- he just should not be assigned to a client facing role such as the front desk. It was not fair for him or for anyone else who needed help.
I came at 1700 to pick up a dinner order and eat at the location but they ran out of utensils and the front desk woman was pretty h apologetic about it. I then said how the first time discount code did not work for my friend and she literally did not say anything. I proceeded to walk out at this point. Please hire more enthusiastic, helpful front...
