We went to Island Collectibles a few weeks back a little unsure of what we wanted for our new home together. He steered us in the right direction. We ended up choosing a large Life is Beautiful poster and three Star Wars prints from when the original three movies came out. We couldn’t be happier, I just picked them up today. They are sharp and clean looking and clearly done professionally. The price was certainly reasonable. But the best part of the experience was dealing with Ernie. He has to be one of the easiest going gentleman I have ever had the pleasure to do business with. I’ll definitely be sending people his way.

I’d gone to Island Collectibles last week to try to assist with a order I had go wrong somewhere else. I’d purchased a piece and it arrived damaged. Ernie helped me reframe it, and it came about absolutely stunning. I was so happy with it that we decided to have our wedding pictures printed and framed with him too! He worked with us so patiently, and made it look better than we could have imagined. Highly recommend visiting the shop and working with him, he was an absolute gentleman and he’s the best at what he does.

Barry Levine's 1977 KISS "Mylar" session is my favorite KISS photo session of all time. I'd been searching for this rare poster for ages and when I recently lucked into it, I knew this beautiful metallic poster needed to be professionally framed. Ernie Ayala of Island Collectibles and Fine Custom Picture Framing did a Phenomenal job! Looking at this on my wall I feel like an eleven year old in 77 looking at my Superheroes again. ⚡️

Ernie is AMAZING and we trust his expertise and judgement implicitly! You can’t beat the personal touch and attention of a small business owner whose work is their passion.

We had some old posters we wanted framed but didn’t know exactly what we wanted. Ernie’s suggestions were perfect, without being “extra”. He didn’t take advantage of the moment. We ended up going back two more times, which included my father’s vintage baby pictures. He chose matting and framing that looked like they came with the original! I had a Christmas present shipped to him for framing. I trusted him to do what he thought was best and the outcome was beautiful!

While searching online for places to frame some old and some new paintings/prints we found Island Collectibles. While viewing the website, I noticed the sports jerseys, I knew this was the right place for the job.

When we met with Ernie to review the order, he made excellent suggestions and helped us to make the right decision that would enhance these paintings. The finished products were perfect, and he did a beautiful job. We look forward to working with Ernie again and would highly recommend him.
