In this review, I discuss service, price, food taste, and parking.
Service Service was quite good. The proprietor of the location was very nice and informative when I called to inquire about food availability.
Price The prices are reasonable for NJ and the price is as listed in the menu images on Google.
Food Taste We ordered Amala, gbegiri and goat meat, a side of turkey and white rice as well as ayamase, plantain and rice. My friend who ate the bulk of the Amala food item complained that it had too much Maggi and the gbegiri flavor did not show up as a result. I then tasted it and I agreed as well.
The ayamase was not bad and the flavor was quite close to as expected but the tripe was over cooked and too soft. It did have an egg which was nice.
The turkey was quite good. I enjoyed it.
Parking There is parking on the street but the location is close to a police station and it seems a lot of the cops park there. So, take a buddy and have them stay in the car while you run in to...

I am a Hispanic man, and my wife is African. I have to say this establishment has the most authentic and freshest tasting food I have eaten at any restaurant. It tasted like my in laws cooked for me, and it had my wife reminisce about her childhood. That's how good it is. We each ordered the Eguisi with Chicken and for the swallow we had Amala and the poundo. If you want true authentic Food this is the place to eat. I have to express how delicious the food is. I am absolutely blown away by how fresh, AUTHENTIC, clean and just delicious this food is. It has been so hard to find a real Nigerian restaurant with quality food, fair portions and good service. Well look no further. We ordered take out and the packaging was well wrapped, the food was hot and fresh and you get bang for your buck on portion size! (Oh and the SPICE is spicy okay!! 😂) This food reminds me of my father’s cooking and warms my heart. We ordered Egusi with Poundo and Ámala.
