Strangely enough, I had a problem of "No-Show" from this particular Domino's last year...and had to fight like two strong-armed gorillas to get my money back. I have happily, ordered from the Domino's on Central Avenue... much more favorably. Through an online fluke, this order ended up being placed with the Springfield Avenue Store☹😳☹. Nonetheless, I ordered two pizza (one Pan and one thin crust) along with 2 orders of wings. All arrived about an hour or so... "after" the stated delivery time, which concerned me-greatly. This order cost $60.00 plus change The. Yeah, that's right... $60.00. Even in today's inflation, pizza shouldn't cost that much. I gotta tell you about it all... The driver was literally sitting in the delivery vehicle and was arguing with someone on his cellphone. I stood at the front door waiting for 1-2minutesb efore he got out of his vehicle and after I interrupted his call, with another call😡 when he handed me my order, the order felt warm to-the-touch, enough to be accepted. But, by the time (about another 2 minutes later) I made it upstairs (order had been paid in full online) all bets were off...everything was ice cold. No conversations with neighbors, no waiting for the elevator, no incidents that would cause any delays at all, straight to the apartment. Not long after sitting down to eat, we noticed everything had become frigid,, the wings were horrible and the pizza stiff as a board- totally inedible. I couldn't get my dog to eat any the mess, this Domino's had made. I placed another call to inquire about the delivery (which was already late) and was told "it and the delivery driver was on their way", it took another 10 minutes to arrive. Once the food was brick-hard and freezer-cold, I called to report to the incident to the ordering location on Springfield Ave...they never picked up to address my issues and concern. Caller ID is a very interesting thing.🤔 Literally, I had just thrown away $60.00 USD on horrible pizza and related pizza items because of inedible, ineffective, unprofessional delivery and lack of concern by the preparing store. The Springfield Avenue Store and it's staff should be terminated. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME...THIS PLACE IS A RIPOFF!!!!...
Read moreI went to this location twice 1/16 & 1/17, each time placing my order online. On the first visit I walked in and no one acknowledged me. One guy was taking pizza out the oven while talking to a young lady who was standing over the pizza eating piece of chicken. then one of the delivery driver walked over and joined in the conversation and chicken eating. The entire time i'm standing there, i guess the delivery guy realized I was annoyed so he told a guy who was standing in the back counting tips to come help me. Then the young man walks up and asked for the last four digits of my number, then I give him a $50 visa gift card. He then tells me they do not take gift cards, so I go to the car and get my debit card. The entire time I was there no one had on a mask or gloves. They was standing over the food the guy who was taking out the oven, talking, breathing, and eating over people food. The next day i order again online, crazy right, but i had a free pizza to claim and I was having a sleep over for the kids. This time I used that same gift card online to paly for the food before going to pick it up. hoping the service was gonna be better the second time I was wrong. Again, no gloves and everyone standing around talking and eating. Except this time the young lady was making pizza with no gloves on. What happened to COVID? Please stay away from this location. Read moreI've never been in the store at this location. I used to get my pizza from central. The online portal auto selected this one since it opened and is closer I guess. I've only ordered from here a couple times. This was the first time I honestly regretted it. I made a mistake and confirmed my order with the last address I ordered to on my account. That was a relative's house not far from me. I needed it to come to my house but could not edit. I called the store immediately after my order and was on for 15 minutes listening to the machine and no pickup! I called 4 more times and no pickup!
I was now frantic because I knew this would be an inconvenience for the driver. I tried texting the auto text system and it doesn't work that way. I tried fixing the address online and I couldn't. When the driver finally called me and I explained what happened, he was not happy at all. His tone was uncalled for. I kept explaining that no one picked up. He was upset because he has more orders, so I still apologized and begged and he took my address and delivered it. I apologized again but was upset but more hungry so I was thankful. Mixed emotions tbh. PICK UP YOUR PHONE!!! I'm not going to be ordering from this location again and Dominos needs to change things on the site. The order also took much longer than the time frame.
