Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Newark

If there was a way that I can give a negative star rating I would. Never again will order from this Domino. I placed my order for pick up at 8:21pm. I went to pick up at 9pm. When I arrived home and took a slice out of the box, I noticed that my pizza was halfway raw. I checked the second box which is a thin crust pizza and it was also raw. I called the store to let them know and asked if they can make me a new order, their response was “I don’t understand what you’re saying.” I asked if they can make me another order and the person was very defensive and gave me a hard time. Eventually the person agreed to make my new order as long as I bring back the two original pies. I asked how long it would take and the person said 30 minutes. Thirty minutes later my significant other went to the store because I was breastfeeding my newborn. They gave him a hard time telling him that they don’t remember having that conversation and they never agreed to make the pizza. The female team member reminded the guy that took the call that he did make the phone call. Then the guys says well it’s been too long and you brought the pizza cold. Uhmmmm hello!!! Pizza will not stay hot for thirty minutes lol they team member was very disrespectful and argumentative, he eventually reordered my order and took his time making it. My pizza was not ready until almost 12am. When I ate the pizza, it tasted very disgusting as if tho the dough was old. As I write this review, I feel very nauseous and will be going to the ER to make sure I did not get sick from eating this pizza. The team there needs to be trained in proper customer service. Its 12:19am, 6/22/2019 My niece and her girl friend ordered a pizza from this Domino's. The delivery guy called and said he was outside. When my niece's friend goes to the door there is a tinted car outside and he's telling her to come to the car to get her pizza. Now, why you would think we would allow a 19yo female to go to a car with tinted windows, domino's or not, is beyond me but we don't do that over here. She felt uncomfortable so she came back inside and said the delivery person was acting weird. My niece and her mother goes out to see what's going on, and he kept telling them to come to the car, now he don't feel safe, but you think telling females to come to your car with tints is safe. He eventually pulls off, they call the store. My cousin then calls the store, 1st time she called and asked for manager, she got hung up on, 2nd time she called and spoke to someone and asked for the manager and was told the manager was busy. When she asked for the for his name they made up a name, she ignored them and proceeded to tell them the issue. They came up with the excuse that if a driver feels unsafe, they don't need to get out of the car this is newark. My cousin then told them she orders there all the time and has never had this problem even at this time of night and if he don't feel safe delivering in newark why is he working there. She asked for the district manager's name and was told they couldn't give out that information, which is also BS. Do yourself a favor and save your money!! Though there are not many Pizza places that deliver in the area, that still does not mean that we have to deal with a place like this. This location is a Franchise location and obviously the Manager and Owner do not care what type of product or image they put out for Dominos.So, Please contact Corporate location with complaints. The staff is rude and unprofessional, there is never a Manager available. I ordered a Pizza last night for my son and I. The pizza I ordered was suppose to be light sauce, Pepperoni and sliced sausage. I received a chicken and spinach pizza. So, I called them back and they said they would send the correct Pizza. 15[ minutes later the delivery driver called. The pizza she brought this time did not have light sauce, it was cold and THEY DID NOT EVEN ATTEMPT TO CUT IT!! It was just a big blob of cold pizza with no slices. I called back to speak with a Manager and was told they were not available, I was placed on hold then the delivery driver picks up the phone and attempts to go off on me asking why I keep calling. Then she hung up on me!! I have never been treated so rudely. If we stop ordering the Franchise will not make money to stay open.
