Yrs ago this restaurant was great. I used to come all the time. But now they have a new staff. And it shows. The food is typical. Nothing spectacular except for the fact it's hot and better than fast food chains. And the ladies running the show change the prices to their liking. If u don't speak Spanish they will try to jack the price up on you. I've witnessed this throughy own experience. I went there and ordered the same dish on a different day in the same week and they charged me an extra five bucks. It literally went from 8 to 13. In two days. Then I sent my Spanish speaking friend in and they charged him the original price. I say if u can avoid this place,do. But if your hungry and have a taste for cheap beans and rice that are overrated and overpriced, this is the spot. Really enjoyed my visit to La Parada Dominicana! The food was full of authentic flavor — especially the pernil and rice, which were delicious and perfectly seasoned. The portions were generous, and the pricing felt fair for the quality.

The staff was friendly and welcoming, although service was a little slow during the lunch rush, which is understandable. The atmosphere is casual and cozy — great for a relaxed meal with family or friends.
