We all know that childhood favorite place we've heard of at least once in our lifetime: McDonald's.
Oh yeah, you already knew this review was comin'.
Located near the heart of Newark on Broad and Market St, this location is perfectly placed on a series of roads for easy and convenient driveway pickup. Not only that, it is public transportation friendly as well. There are bus stops nearby this McDonald's locations.
The only thing to lookout for is its fellow competitors like Wendy's and Checkers which are right next door!
As for the indoors itself, there is plenty of space, plenty of tables and freeway walking room. You'll have no problem finding a place to sit and enjoy an early morning to mid-day, meal here.
In terms of the food quality, I tried a simple yet classic choice: the McChicken sandwich. One of their popular choices for their non-meat burgers. Coming in with fresh lettuce, a generous amount of mayonnaise, and breaded chicken topped off with two buns.
The other day I ordered a Quarter Pounder with Cheese, the meal quality remained splendid. This McDonald's definitely delivers when it comes to bang for your buck.
Overall, a solid location to choose for this McDonald's - with plenty of inner space to eat, hang out, easy self checkout machines, and impressive food...
Read moreWent through the drive thru of this location a few minutes ago and my order was incomplete. They charged me for sandwiches and drinks not the full meal. So I gave them my card to charge the additional amount. As the young lady at the 2nd window proceeded to give me my things I noticed I was missing sauce and another drink which I then asked her for. I checked my bag while she was getting that and she came back as I was looking through my bags. I only noticed she was back when she said "oh my God" in an annoyed tone. "I replied excuse me what did you say" , to which she then motioned me to move out of the line. It took everything in me not to come out of character and stoop to her level. So instead I'll write this review and hopefully her manager will see it and address it. Since she dislikes her job so much and couldn't understand a person wanting to check their order since it was wrong in the first place. I've been a worker in fast food before so I understand how the rush can be frustrating, but as an employee it gives you no right to take that tone with a customer especially when it was not warranted. I'll make it a point to not patronize your business again as a result of...
Read moreI come to this place all the time, almost every day and I never rated them before. I believe in giving people several chances when they mess up my coffee order, unpleasant attitude of employees, getting my order incorrect, long lines of cash only, having people solicit money around while I order food on and on. But, enough is enough. I wish I could rate with no stars. We were given cold food this morning and that did it for me. I felt the food cold when I was about to give it to my kids. All they had to do was heat it up in the microwave and they still could not get that right. I understand it's McD's , employees probably do not like to work there. But, have some kind of pride ATLEAST you're blessed with a job. There's no apology for the mistake when brought to managers attention. Never again. I told my co-workers about incidents that transpired here and they said the same thing that's why they go to the DD or the trucks. Mcd's -You just lost a regular customer and I will bring this up to a higher up since it seems like the service here will never change. Sad. Take my advice --Take your money elsewhere even to the little trucks instead they'll treat you...
