Starbucks — Restaurant in Newark

We had ordered two frappuccinos, and both of them went wrong. The customer service was really bad, and they kept messing up the order! So first, we ordered a tall Java Chip Frap with extra Java chips and coconut milk. We had to keep repeating the order. In the end, they listened right and the receipt was correct. When we got the "frappuccino", it wasn't Java Chip. It wasn't a frappuccino. It was a caramel iced latte. Where did the caramel come from? And why an iced latte? That wasn't even in our order. Here's the weird part: They blended the caramel iced latte with the Java chips, put it in a frappuccino cup, and topped it with whipped cream; an iced latte in disguise. Now, that wasn't it. The other drink we ordered was a tall decaf Java chip frapp. Again, we had to keep repeating it. Then, we were told they didn't have decaf coffee! This is a coffee shop! So, we agreed to have the creme version of it. Now, the barista wrote down for us a cookie crumble frap! Double chocolate chip frap is the creme version of Java chip frap, right? We don't know how she heard cookie, or who she heard it from! After looking at the receipt and realizing her mistake, we went back to her for the second time and were told cookie crumble was the creme version of Java chip frappuccino! So we just told her to change the order to Double Chocolate chip. Not to mention their other mistake. Instead of tall, we received Grande. Despite that the frappuccino was correctly changed, there was still cookie crumble on the cream. In the end, nobody got the correct...

I want to leave a review about one of your baristas...Her apron said her name was Makayla. I used to be a partner and I know the standards that Starbucks started out with...Makayla embraces them all. An older gentleman got his coffee refilled and was walking away when Makayla addressed him by name and said “don’t you want decaf?” The older man was walking away and he said “that’s ok you guys are busy...I can drink this” Makayla stopped what she was doing and said “no! We have it brewed and ready...let me take care of that!” Then she went back to all the other customers...Thank you Makayla for helping me remember how Starbucks started and why I still go even though no one at my Starbucks ever remembers me...If I lived in this town I would go in just to be treated the way Makayla treated that gentlemen! I hope your managers see this review and use it to educate others on how a few minutes of kindness can turn around...

This place right here is home base for me. If I want my cold foam cold brew done correctly this is the only spot. Sadly it's not near my home or work place but since I drive pass it going home I'll make a quick stop to stretch and recharge for my long trip home. I know this place is near a school and there's lots of business near here so early mornings is busy but during peak traffic time it's not that busy at all. Now back to the drinks. So far, i had different batista makes my drinks and it always come out great especially when I'm looking to treat my self. The ratio of cold foam is perfect every single time. Occasionally I get drinks for my brother and they say the same thing. I also always get an ice Americano with nothing in it, and it does it job great as it allow me to sit in...
