Royal Palace Banquet Hall — Attraction in Fremont

This review is in response to the STRONG accusations made by the owner. Breaking what? I’m sorry? The owners daughter, was in the event hall while we were practicing. We did not touch a single thing in the room. Surely, if we made damages, her OR the 15 OTHER PEOPLE (decorator and his team) in the room would have noticed and made a comment about it. OR we would have heard about this sooner, not in response to my review. Please show evidence and camera footage of the nonsense that you are making up. All we utilized was the dance floor for 30 minutes, which we got permission for. During this practice, this is where we observed glass on the flooring, IN MULTIPLE SPOTS OF THE ROOM, which LOGICALLY cannot come from whatever a “water droplet” is. The glass was also seen the next day (day of wedding) by multiple family members and was brought up to Jamal, this is where I can refute the claims of your statement that the “floor was cleaned a 2nd time,” when it clearly was not. Please be careful when accusing a group of young adults who simply came for 30 minutes of dance practice while YOUR OWNER WAS IN THE ROOM, of “damaging the dance floor” and saying things like “you are liable for damages.” This is highly unprofessional and could lead to detrimental damages to your business. Again, please provide some sort of evidence for your disgusting claims. Also, please take a GOOD look at your latest review that was made 2 weeks ago, in which your client Ajeesh rated your hall 0 for cleanliness. I was disappointed in every step of my communication with Royal Palace. When I first called, they were rude and I powered through hoping to kill them with kindness. They refused to shared much of their pricing over their phone and said that a"manager" could only provide those things in person. So, we had an appointment set weeks in advance for a venue tour this morning. We flew all the way from San Diego in order to do some tours for my wedding reception.

There was no communication from Royal Palace prior to let me know in advance that there would be delay in our tour. I called multiple times-with nobody picking up the phone.

I get an email and a very rude phone call from them that they had a late event last night which is why they couldn't make our appointed time. This is not a valid excuse. It would have been good to receive communication late last night or even early this morning. They have both my phone number and email address. Leaving any kind of message would have been respectful.

Additionally on our phone call, I was told that there was no manager there today anyway. What am I supposed to take from this? I was told to make an appointment for a tour so I could meet with a manager as on a previous call it was stated that they couldn't provide a quote until we came in person and only a manager could provide some details. So was the plan to give us a tour without providing us a quote? Which is the only reason we came on a tour.

AVOID AT ALL COST! Very rude owners, especially Jamal and Iman. They were extremely unprofessional and unorganized. Months before my event, we went over the layout and number of bartenders and waiters needed along with a copy and signature of Iman. When I arrived to the venue early to make sure everything was in place, they did not follow the layout we had decided before which was 2 months in advance. They had tables everywhere where we did not want and when we asked to move it, they refused to move it. They changed our layout without our permission. We had two bars. Before the party we gave the bartender all the liquor and syrups for specialty drinks, the bartenders were instructed to move the liquor before the party however they did not even move it so one bar did not have all the liquor. During the party, all 4 bartenders went on a break during the most busiest time of the party. When they came back, 1 of the bartenders came back drunk and when we told the owners they did not acknowledge it. In addition, the owners were very rude to our vendors. They were rude and disrespectful to our photographers/videographer, decorators, DJ. They did not provide a internet cable for our videographer when we requested it. We also instructed the waiters to care of special guest ahead of time however during the party the plates were on the table for 30 minutes-40 minutes and were very lazy. I suggest you avoid this venue at all cost because the owners do not listen or respect their customers. They only care for the money, AVOID...
