The portions of the food was very small but compared to the amount you pay it would be considered a good deal. The meats were cooked well and were flavorful but the side portions were ridiculously small and lacking in flavor and texture. The Mac and cheese you can tell were burned, water added to reheat, and salt added generously to hide the charcoal flavor. The candied yams were delicious although I suspect they were canned. The potato salad was flavorful but was mostly mayo, only a small scooped was served. We ordered cabbage but it was not delivered. Wish I could give this place no stars it is the worst. I'm usually one of those types who read reviews and believe them but my sister wanted to try this place. Never again don't order from this place especially if you have never been there. I did doordash the portion sizes were ridiculously small like two regular tablespoon scoop sizes. Fried chicken is old maybe fried in old grease not even fried. They give you a substitution of their choice. The waffles were hard. Everything just bad. I placed my order with doordash, that was a great experience. The young lady that dropped off my food was polite and sweet, she gets a 5. This is my first time trying food from here, everything was packaged well and neat. A person like myself who really enjoys good food. I prefer quality over quantity when it comes to food. My food I received was overly seasoned to the point you do not know what you are eating, it just taste like salt. The potatoe salad was watery.
