Wilson Ave BBQ — Restaurant in Newark

I was pleasantly surprised when the free local delivery arrived. As a trucker, especially now with the wackadoodle mentalities we see in the media, and trucking around the country. the service was nice and efficient, portions were above average, food all still warm, all with distinct and yummy flavors, cost was reasonable. I had a chick and pork rib combo add beef ribs, with fries and black beans. Too much for this fat dude to eat. So much I was able to share a plate with another driver. So So very used to being disregarded or in other ways poorly treated, this place surprised me for this random stop in Newark, I'm glad I got lucky and Wilson bbq was the closest place that delivered...all would benefit with the addition of some east Carolina vinegar based bbq sauce as well as a s.Carolina mustard based sauce, or my fave mixing the two.God Bless America, be grateful for whatever you have, be kind, serve Truth, do right things,and give God...

i buy here twice a week ,there food is finger licking good, and the price is very cheep and they serve a lot of food ,I've been ordering here for about 10 years and i have try most barbecue spots in Newark NJ but this one is my favorite. delivery time from 30 to 45 minutes ,but it's worth the wait i highly recommend this place to everyone , love the pork and chicken combo with the rice and fries. try it i bet you will continue to keep ordering from...

I spent 100 dollars off grubhub because my family wanted sum BBQ for my child graduation chicken and ribs was so dry the french fries where either hard or soggy my shrimp and garlic for get about there was no juice garlic present it was sum dry shrimp in the corner of the yellow rice and I also order garlic chicken with rice tht was dry and the chicken chunk was assorted of dry chicken pieces and pieces of whole wings tht it all was dry first...
