I have to be honest - super disappointed. My friend and I came in for lunch today. We have never been here, but saw the online reviews and were actually pretty excited. The customer service - candidly there was none. No one acknowledged our presence as we looked around, a bit confused on how the dine-in process works. After awkwardly standing in line by the cash register for several minutes, we grabbed a couple menus that were located on the side of the register. An eating customer advised us that we seat ourselves. No one ever came to our table. A buser or server (I'm not sure which) served people around us and even cleaned a booth directly behind us and said nothing to us. We had no idea if they took our order at the booth or if we had to go back up to the register and place an order. There was no signage to give direction. We felt almost unwelcome. We decided to grab a bite elsewhere. I hope they work this piece out. It looked like the food was amazing.

Read moreIt was my first time dining at La Tropicana. I stopped in for a late lunch. This is an excellent family-run restaurant with authentic Mexican food. The ambience is homey and comfortable. The menu features a variety of dishes, including beef, chicken, seafood (primarily shrimp), and pork options. I had the chilaquiles with slightly spicy red sauce, as it was the only thing on the menu that might be vegetarian. They also offer them with spicy red sauce or green sauce. Like most other dishes, it came with rice and refried beans. My food was delicious! I look forward to stopping in again with my wife so...
