Cook Out — Restaurant in Newberry

Cook Out was truly a fantastic experience from start to finish! As soon as I walked in, I could smell the delicious aroma of freshly grilled burgers and crispy fries. It felt warm and welcoming, with cheerful staff eager to help. The menu offered so many tempting choices that I could hardly decide what to order. It was exciting to know that every item was made with care and attention, reflecting the love for food that the restaurant clearly has.

The moment my food arrived, my mouth watered in anticipation. I enjoyed a juicy, perfectly grilled burger, topped with fresh lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and creamy mayonnaise. Each bite was a burst of flavor, and I could tell that only high-quality ingredients were used. The fries were golden brown and crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside—just the way I like them. Every dish felt like it was prepared just for me, enhancing my dining experience.

What really stood out during my visit was the exceptional service. The staff members were incredibly friendly and attentive. They greeted me with big smiles and were more than happy to answer all my questions. Even when the restaurant was busy, they made me feel like I was the only customer that mattered. Their quick service meant that I didn’t have to wait long, and my food came out  hot, ready to be enjoyed.

We went yesterday and the food was good but the employee we dealt with was rude. We ordered through the drive through at mid day. When we got to the window there was no greeting just a lady that barked our order to us (I guess for confirmation) She tried to hand two drinks to us and I told her that we just had one so the other may belong to another car. She said “one is with the tray and an extra tea”. I let her know we only had one drink and she rolled her eyes and loudly said “you added a tea at the end!” I thought maybe she misunderstood something we said or had us mixed up with another so I just handed her the debit card to pay the $19.47 that she quoted us. It wasn’t that big of a deal and I knew the tea wouldn’t end up going to waste. There was one sandwich that she didn’t read back to us so I asked if it was included in the order and she shoved the bag at us and let the window slam, ignoring me and walking away from the window. I was in shock. I am very patient and treat everyone with respect especially those that work in customer service as I KNOW that it can be hard!! We gave her no reason to be rude to us and found her behavior unacceptable. We will not go back to this location. Ordered at Cookout last night (January 18 @ approximately 9:00pm) consisted of 1 BBQ Sandwich Tray, 1 Cheeseburger Quesadilla Tray, 1 Double Burger Tray & 1 order of cheese fries for my toddlers… Ate the food in which i noticed my BBQ Sandwich tasted a little off but i thought it was maybe juss a little more hot sauce than usual… my boyfriend continues eating his Cheeseburger Quesadilla Tray everything is fine at first… So far no issues, kids are eating aswell as my brother… My brother never had any issues with his food, nor the kids… me & my boyfriend on the other hand started feeling nauseous… in which i ended up vomiting, i didnt think nothing of it thought i may have juss been coming down with a cold… However i continued to eat my sandwich and immediately started feeling nauseous again as soon as i laid down… I dont ever leave reviews but this is ridiculous… the sides we had were fine which i had walking tacos (tasted spicier than normal aswell but i like spicy) and cheese bites, boyfriend has double cheese bites… neither one made us nauseous… so something needs to be done about the pork and beef in the quesadillas… I will not be ordering from here for a long...
