I had such high hopes when we planned to go to dinner tonight here. Arrived at 6:35 waited almost 10 minutes before anyone seated us or even acknowledged us. After we did sit down it was another 10 minutes before anyone approached us with menus. I was & am completely understanding when things are busy. There is about 12 tables total in this restaurant & at the time about 4 of them were open along with what looked like 4 different servers. I never caught the name of our server but wish I would have, she seemed very overwhelmed & annoyed. The younger girl working definitely only wants to help her tables & not pitch in where needed. Our group ordered a variety of items off of the menu: 😋Shrimp Etouffee, Fried Chicken, Fried Pickles, Red Beans and Rice😋😋, Chicken Fried Steak, Boudin Balls. I must say, everything tasted great! My favorite has to be the Red Beans and Rice😋😋, super delicious!!! Mr. Shelby, the owner was SSOOOOO nice and friendly. He came and checked on our group, asked of there were any questions, and even gave a bit of family background. The wait staff was attentive, helpful and on point with the orders. This is a small establishment, not in your face with advertising, very humble. If you want some real Cajun food in central Oklahoma, head to Boudreaux's in...
