This location has gone way downhill since I first moved to Newcastle. Previously there were times like any fast food chain that there could be a a little waiting involved which is very understandable. Now EVERY time I go to this location the long wait is a GUARANTEE. I have begun going to another location in OKC which is usually a lot faster than waiting in line. On this particular visit I decided to just come here because I didn't really want to drive that far. Again there was a very long line in the drive-thru so I decided to just go in thinking it would be faster because there was only one person at the counter ordering. I ordered my food and the staff was horrible. There was no sense of urgency to get peoples orders out at all. Taking their time getting orders for the drive-thru and the gentleman who ordered before me. Here's the kicker. It took them almost 30 minutes to give me my order and the line of cars that I was trying to avoid by going in got their food before I did. As a matter of fact an employee who got off work in the time I was waiting actually got their food to go before I received my order. This was by far the worst customer service experience I've ever had. The slow pace and lack of thought about the customers time is inexcusable. New management or leadership is needed badly here. I'm sorry to say but I WILL NOT be coming back here for a long time if and when I decide to. This is the most convenient location to come to for me but I am more than willing to travel to get the service I've received at other locations. And trust me I'm not a difficult customer. A step beyond the bare minimum is all I'm asking for. 0...
Read moreWe stopped here for some ice cream, just ice cream. My family loves Braums. I have nothing against the chain. But the employee that was making our ice cream at this one when we stopped in obviously didn't know what she was doing and didn't care to listen to what we were saying. My mother asked for a tuxedo sundae which is always double dip, 1 scoop vanilla with hot fudge, 1 scoop chocolate with marshmallow topping, and nuts. She made it with 2 scoops vanilla but she did right double checking about the nuts so we weren't too irritated about that. Next was my order. I asked for a single dip blackforrest sundae made with chocolate frozen yogurt instead of the normal ice cream. She began making it as a double dip, simple mistake so I corrected her saying I only wanted a single knowing I won't eat a double and it costs more. She grabbed a single dish, asked her manager how to make it and I don't know if she just didn't pay attention or if the manager gave her the wrong instructions but what I got was not close to a black forrest sundae and she also told me they can't substitute frozen yogurt for ice cream scoops. Yes you can, I worked at a Braums for a year and a half and go there every day for my lunch break. I completely understand that everyone in the country is short staffed right now. But if the employee doesn't know how to do the job they should've had someone there teaching them. She should not have been left to do the job on her own. After seeing them mess up both my mother's order and mine, my sister looked at me and said "I think I'll just order a...
Read moreI've had off and on again terrible experiences at this location but tonight was enough to finally make me write a review. I get it's a holiday weekend. I get this is probably your first job. I get not caring about a company's image when you're that age. But tonight I had to sit and wait for my food for nearly 30 min as the staff of all high-school age kids screwed around making jokes and moving slower than molasses. There seemed to be no middle management there to keep these kids in line as the waits for your food steadily grew. The drive through line was wrapped around the parking lot. The ice cream only line was into the grocery section. The cherry on top was fact that when I finally did get my chicken sandwich it was so tough I could barely chew about half of it. I wasn't about to take it back as I knew I was going to probably go off on one of those kids and my luck it would be the only one that had been working hard all night. Plus I had no clue how long I would be waiting for a new piece of chicken. In the past I've had shakes from this location that can best be described as a cold glass of milk with maybe a half a scoop of ice cream floating around in it. This has happened on more than one occasion. This location needs an overhaul of employees and maybe...
