I've been here twice, and I don't anticipate being back unless my husband really wants to do a pick-up order.
The food isn't that good. I got an 8-pc nugget and they were very tiny. I don't know if you could even call them nuggets - more like greasy gristle bits. Next time I got a 12-pc and they're normal size, so I couldn't finish them. They should probably sell them by the oz if the product isn't consistent. The coffee just didn't taste good either time. Fries were great the first time, and lukewarm the second time. We didn't get a tray the second time either, which we needed because there is not enough space on the 2-person tables for a normal amount of food plus the paper bag for trash. We had to put it on the floor.
The layout of the dining area is chaotic. The tables are tiny and squeezed together so there's people on top of/bumping into each other. I think the physical space isn't big enough for the demand (which I don't get because Dave's Hot Chicken is better and it's always empty). I think they should redesign it so that there's fewer tables, because right now it's giving cafeteria/mess hall.
The demographics it attracts don't help with the vibes. The first time, we were in a booth inches away from the table next to us (with a large group of UNH students) and we could hear their quite explicit Halloween weekend escapades (which I don't mind but I shouldn't be elbow to elbow with other guests). The second time (chose a small table), this huge family swarmed our table and just hung out there talking. It was really awkward because they were standing up and seemingly oblivious to us, inches away while we were trying to eat. One of them sneezed/coughed right over our food. I don't even know how one would handle that situation. Also someone walked by and knocked my (tiny) purse off the back of my chair. We would have sat somewhere else but everything else was occupied at 2:30PM.
The service is not terrible. It's fast but they forget items. Also, instead of giving you a table tent with a number, they come and shout your name while stomping around with a food order which adds to the stress. It lacks the charm and customer service they normally have. I like the one in Nashua much better and had been going there for years when I lived in southern NH. It's much better and closer to what I imagine most of these establishments are like in other parts of...
Read moreI have gone to this chic fil a twice and although the staff were very friendly both times, both times my food was wrong. I went through the drive thru in both cases so I can’t speak on the service inside. The first time I ordered grilled chicken nuggets and got fried. Not a huge deal. The second time I tried to order the grilled chicken sandwich substitute the brioche for white with a large ice tea lemonade. Further down the line after we ordered someone asked to confirm our order and said we were being charged for white bread on the side and not to substitute the brioche for white. He said he had to cancel the whole order and type it in again and recharge us. When we got our food it was wrong but it was what the ticket on the bag said so our food was retyped in, but more wrong than before. My drink got downsized and I got a fried chicken sandwich with just pickles on it when I wanted the grilled chicken with the lettuce and tomato on it. My partners food was correct but he received a different sauce than he ordered. A few days pass and we realize we were never refunded for the original charge to the card so our $30 chic fil a trip turned into a $60 chic fil a trip for food I didn’t even want. Since days had passed and we trusted that we were being issued a refund we didn’t keep the receipt as we were going to just let getting the wrong food slide since the line was so long but accidentally charging someone twice the amount...
Read moreFrom the moment I pulled into the parking lot, I could tell this Chick-fil-A was something special. The exterior was impeccably maintained, with well-kept landscaping that set the tone for what turned out to be an outstanding experience inside.
As soon as I walked through the doors, I noticed how spotless the restaurant was; floors shining, counters clean, and everything in perfect order. I was warmly greeted by a friendly team member at the counter and placed my order. The food arrived incredibly fast, which was a pleasant surprise.
While dining, I noticed several team members circulating through the dining room, diligently cleaning and wiping down tables. What really stood out was how attentive they were. Someone came over to check if I needed a refill or anything else. Another team member even offered to take my tray when I was done, which was such a thoughtful touch.
I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner/operator, Mike, who took a moment out of his day to introduce himself and chat for a bit. He was genuinely friendly and made the experience feel even more personal.
This visit reminded me why Chick-fil-A has such a strong reputation for both quality food and top-tier service. Easily one of the best fast food experiences I’ve had. I’ll...
