My experience shopping at the La-Z-Boy store in Portsmouth has been one of the best shopping experiences I've had in recent years. In the process of researching and testing sofas and recliners, I interacted with four staff-people including their designer, Lee. All of them were very knowledgable about the many products in the showroom and about customization options. They were responsive to my needs, pleasant, and helpful without being pushy. I was equally impressed by how collaborative they were as a sales team. The store has examples of pretty much any La-Z-Boy product you might want, making it easy to try out and compare items that interest you. It is clean, nicely organized and well-lit. It seems to me that whoever manages this store has the ability to hire excellent staff and to create a positive atmosphere for customers....

We purchased the Greyson recliner sofa and chair which are super comfy. I highly recommend using Lay-Z-Boy's in home design service. Lee, from the Newington, NH store, was extremely knowledgeable about all the products and services, and her extensive design expertise was invaluable. Her input is the main reason we are so happy with our purchase. She was able to provide a rendering of what the room would look like, and the pieces we chose originally would not have fit the room, or us, nearly as well.
